A new start for Mooloo

I have just put DGD up to bed, but she has not settled yet.
She did have a later sleep today, so its not surprising, but she didnt protest as its part of the usual Tea, bath, hair, bed routine really. Although she was still asking for bottle today. (She came back last weekend without the last bottle, and I had said that I wasnt going to replace it as she was a big girl.) and I wont. But she cannot fall asleep drinking from a cup.
It's hard work isn't it! But on the plus side, getting her away from depending on a bottle to fall asleep on is a positive thing and hopefully it will only take a week for her to adjust to not having the bottle.

Mooloo, Have you thought about whether being on the laptop could be causing your neck , shoulder & arm to become more inflamed & therefore more painful? I know I have problems with my neck & shoulder if I spend too much time surfing on the PC, and I don't have the condition that you have.0

That's a good point, a separate screen, keyboard and mouse would help alleviate some of the strain.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

Yes, have to limit myself to the time actually on the laptop. I take regular breaks, but I do now have a seperate keyboard and mouse. (Just dont always use it.). However the last few days I have not been on so much at all. (May leave the laptop on, but not be actually using it.).
Today I have been out to take DS to the Connexions and sign on,etc, he has to go back next week to the Jobcentre, Monday at 12. (yet another trip to the town, at my expense).
Twin2 had a cooker delivered, but of course the funding didnt cover the cost of an electrician to fit it. I feel I ought to help, but I havent as yet.( Hope that I wont have to).
I dont feel very well.
I have struggled today.
DGD as gone for a lie down, if she settles then I am going to go for one too.
My left side is feeling funny. Even my face is feeling a little numb today, must have caught a nerve in my neck driving? When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
You take care of yourself, Mooloo, hope you manage to rest a bit and that you feel better later. All your virtual friends are here for you. And take heart, and say to yourself, "this too will pass" - it does eventually. I got through a few episodes of illness saying this. xxxx0

Is it normal to feel that way with your illness? Take very, very good care of yourself and try to get more rest - I know it is easier said than done but I am concerned about how you are feeling!0

Well DGD slept for nearly 2 hours, so it gave me nearly 2 as well.
I still feel a little wonky this afternoon, but as I am not now going to be dashing off to Oxford to see BF, we can potter together, her and me. DS is stopping at twin1's later. At the moment they are planning a bbq at twin2's. But I wonder what they will russell up between them and thier mates as far as I know they havent got much food in? Ah well at least the family is mostly together there. Which is good.
DGD has just demolited 3 bananas when I wasnt looking. Oh dear she is tall enough now to get into the fridge!. Within seconds. While I was emptying the washing machine they were gone!.
BF has overworked this week and is needing to relax a bit, then tomorrow its the dreaded Football, so I have decided that we will stay here afterall, and give me some rest and recouperation without having to drive anywhere, and just potter in the garden if we are blessed with the weather. Although Biggest of Mooloo said their is a carnaval in one of the nearer towns and she is dancing in the display, so if the weather is right, and the timing suits we can maybe go and watch her in that.
It also means that perhaps in the evening tomorrow I will manage to get to do some sewing/creating of my own. (arm depending of course). It also means that I can potter around the cottage and put things in thier new places etc since swapping the rooms back around!. There is a huge pile of things on the dinner table and another lot on the sideboard!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Well I think so, as my problem is the vertibrae pinch the nerve system running through the spine. My problem is with vertibrae 6 & 7 (well the worst ones) that affect the system running through to my arm. Then the same problem is in the base of my spine which effects the left leg.
However I dont normally feel quite so strange in the side of the face. But it doesnt look like its dropped or anything. (signs of stroke? I have watched/ am keeping an eye out as I was rushed off for a possible stroke when i was 43), but that was before my spondylosis was diagnosed, and the stroke was never confirmed. Although it did take well over 3 weeks to a month before I got the feeling back in my face etc.
The other thing I will watch for is if the eye drops etc as well as the mouth, for a sign of Belspalsy. Something that has happened to twin2 in her first pregnancy.
If I think that I am getting worse etc I will call the doctors.
But I really think its OK. That its just having done too much driving this week, and the various other stresses that I have been trying to deal with with the family.
I have found out the buses etc for twin2 for next week. Certainly on the Tuesday.
I could give the Bus fares to people to go into the signing on etc etc next week. Oh and get them all to sign for it!. Then anything else that I end up "lending/giving" to them is recorded and they can see whats "bleeding me dry". (Well not quite but it would if I hadnt learnt to be so careful with my choice of spending for the housekeeping etc.). Or at least I hope I have been!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

As long as you know what it is but I couldn't help but think of a stroke too as I have seen its consequences before. _pale_0 -
