Twin2's attitude is understandably both distressing and enfuriating for you. She's being very unfair. Perhaps this is because she can't bear to blame her friends for 'shopping' her, she can't bear to blame herself for the dilemma her boys are in and she can't bear to tell her BF's family the truth. Try and take it with a pinch of salt. You know what happened and that's all that counts.
Anyone's emotions would feel very mixed about seeing the boys tomorrow, but I hope you can enjoy seeing them and they enjoy seeing you.
As always, best wishes......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Thanks Errata, I am really feeling fed up at the moment. Tired out and not much fight left in me. I am so ready for this break at the weekend. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

I hope you do enjoy your weekend break, somewhere warm will do you all the good in the world.
I wonder if you've ever considered all of Twin2's behaviour to be inappropriate because she has LD and accepted that she just doesn't 'get things' or see things straight ? Or have you ever considered that her LD is pretty mild and she should be able to 'get things' and is just being an s.o.d about everything in the same way as some other young women can be ? It just seems to me that if you can clarify in your own mind what is really driving her behaviour you might not be so unhappy about her......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Surprise surprise I just got a call from twin2. She is coming back on Monday now, as she said she is getting visiting access to the boys next Tuesday! I told her that I was not happy with the situation and that she has got to step up to the mark, and prove that she can manage etc. But I just got the "yes Mum". Apparantly she is bringing this new BF back with her, and he is going to get a job transfer? But he works as a cleaner in a health club? So I am not sure how that will work. Its a late nights kind of job and he doesnt drive? Mmm
Well I am tired now. May see if I can get the TV upstairs to work, and watch it in bed for a little while bfore I go to sleep.

Just let you know I am thnking of you and Dad today. Goodluck at his appointmnt, I hope they dont keep you waiting too long. I hate hanging around hospitals.
Thanks Mooloo. His appointment was for 12:40 and we got out of there after 3pm so it wasn't too bad. They found out why his leg that they had used for the bypasses was not healing - there was a stitch still in it despite the fact the stitches were supposed to be removed weeks ago. The nurse who was dressing his leg regularly since said he was slow to heal because he was a diabetic! They discharged him so he is delighted!
It is brillant to hear that twin1 might get dgd back to herself. Good luck with seeing the boys tomorrow - I really don't know how you cope because you have so much thrown at you. :A
Don't forget to get your bag packed for your overdue and much deserved break. I think I need a break when I just read what you do and go through!0 -
Well Jo, glad that Dads problems may now be solved.
I suppose I deal with things, as best I can, and usually tell myself that there are a lot of people a lot worse off then me. I usually manage to solve a problem in the 11th hour. But thats not much compensation at times.
I was talking with the health visitor yesterday, and even I said that at the moment i think that perhaps the bys are in the best place. (or I would like to think so), but its very hard as I have been involved in thier lives from the beginning. I was at the Birth of DGS1, and he live with me until last Summer, and then I was seeing him on adverage every other day. So its a gut wrenching feeling.
This morning has shot by, the sun is shining at the moment. Maybe I can wear my new sunglasses when I drive.!
Need to dress DGD, and bag up the few clothes that I still have that may fit the boys, and be ready to go. Dont know where I am going, so need to use the Sat Nav. Wasnt given the Post Code, so thtsgoing to be more difficult to find.
Better go.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
