Mooloo, good luck for tomorrow. I will be thinking of you although I will be with Dad at his hospital appointment, the first one since he had his five bypasses in March.

Just let you know I am thnking of you and Dad today. Goodluck at his appointmnt, I hope they dont keep you waiting too long. I hate hanging around hospitals.

DGD is going to go to my Parents while I go to town, so I will have to leave earlier to get her there and settled.

Joints are a litte bit better this morning, the volteral is obviously getting is dseage back to strength.
The housework is still behind, but I did manage to get a wash load hung up in the utility area, and another done and dry via the tumble dryer, and yet another washed and now in the dryer and another wash is on. I am determind to catch up on as much of the stuff as possible. Then I can take any of the boys clean things with me to the meeting on Thursday, and twin1 can take her stuff to her new little place. Which I hope will leave me clear before i go away for the weekend.

I need to get some Euros too.
Biggest of mooloo is going to have DGD, so we need to pack her a case as well.!

The health visitor is also due to come today, at 3pm to checkDGD is fit andhealthy and up to her 2 1/2 year check.
She will probably moan that the home is very cluttered etc and there is nothing I can really do about it today.

RE the shopping. I suppose as I currently look "normal" I feel that its difficult for me to ask for assistance. I must learn. :o

If the HV moans, then tell her hard luck, you have no option but to live like that as it is because you are living in unsuitable accomodation that is too small for your needs - she has just as much authority as a Dr to write to the Housing team & push for more suitable accomodation.

    Good luck today

And in the meantime, ask the HV if there is any additional support she can arrange or facilitate: I know ours used to be in touch with the local colleges offering childcare qualifications, and could get students in to give a helping hand as part of their work experience. Usually they liked several children, or younger children, and they're probably all set up now, BUT there may be someone who needs an extra 'spell' who could come and give you a hand, particularly with taking DGD out and about.

Or Homestart - have you tried them yet on YOUR behalf? They might be even better than a childcare student because they could give you a hand with the things you need a hand with - hanging up laundry etc - just to enable you to carry on coping.

Just to mention that the college students are not allowed to be left alone with children they cannot take them out alone neither can you go upstairs to sleep or leave them babysitting this is as much to protect them as much as the family they are involved with also the children usually have to be under 3 and there has to be more than 1

You need to be realistic. There are no medals handed out for being unrealistic :)
Supermarket assistants are only too pleased to help someone with their shopping as it gives them an interesting break from their usual duties.

just a thought! The HV could help arrange funding for pre-school place which would provide you with some respite!!!! Having DS2 go to pre-school (paid for through the CAF) has been the most wonderful thing for me.

I really do think that you need to be shouting at Adult Services via your MP, councillor, HV etc, they should not be leaving you unsupported. Yes, the twins obviously ought to have had support but you need the support now.

    Well its been a longday.
The solicitor said I need to get the twins to get thier own solicitors. Meanwhile as soon as I can show him a more recent proof of benefits, he will write to the councils about my access to the boys for start.
The issues that I have are mostly issues that the twins need to have on thier behalf.
Talking to twin1 on my return, she is willing to go to a solicitor when I get back from my weekend. We will re contact the ones we had previously seen and see if they will act.
Twin 2 is a different story, as I am really not sure I want much to do withher at the moment. She is blaming me (telling her friends that it is my fault that the boys are in care, as I wouldnt have them.) and another story is that she said to the new chaps family that she had to getaway as it was me that called the SS on her!!

the lies are cutting me to the quick! After all I have done for her, I feel like letting her rot!!

The HV arrived as we were sitting in the garden eating icecreams and twin1 was playing/gardening with DGD. So they never came in.
They were very happy with DGD and her progress. Couldnt believe how tall she was since the last time they had seen her, and her speach, was very good etc. All in all they had no worries.
She did mention that when the SS transfer her case to the SNC teams that she would then talk to them about funding her a place in nursery. So lets hope that they do. She was happy for Twin1 to see DGD alone for short periods, with the view to return them to each other, (When DGD was nearer/possibly school age).
So we want to work towards that. But that she didnt want twin1 to take DGD to twin2's alone. So I said that that was fine.
She told us about a Play and Stay, on Friday morning, so twn1 is going to take DGD this friday, and give me a few hours off, in the morning. Then take her back t her little house until I come to collect her.

Tomorrow I am to go and visit the boys. Part of me is dreading it, part of me wants to see them. But am not looking forward to the situation its in.

Perhaps when I get back I will enquire more about what I need, and see if I can get an OT and also re appy for the DLA, with professional help as apposed to doing everything myself.
