I just want to thank everyone for all the moral support. This really has been a life saver. I have had so many dark moments. But MSE posting has helped me in more than one way.
Its helped me to vent my anger, my hopes, distresses and my successes. Its hlped point me in directions I seem useless at finding myself.
But its not an it. It is all of you who read my thread, all of you who take time out to help me, with information, and at times with gifts. I am truely grateful to everyone whos hugs and good vibes have got me through it all. Who continue to get me through all of this. Your all like a family too me, although I only know Molly!.
With all of your various problems each and every one of you still have time for me. I am humbled and I am honoured. Thankyou so very much.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Sad yes, but a success too. You told SS to ge their act together and they did. That's a victory, though a sad one in this case. I'm really pleased you will have access Thursday, time to just be loving grandma hopefully.

    Its a very unfortunate victory.!
I really feel an evil granny at the moment. Twin1 and I just mentioned that she was "lucky" if you can call it that, that her situation was the first as if it was the second, and roles had reversed, it would have been her daughter that I would not have been able to take on, and her access to her would have been reduced.

    Terrible it is to me.

I didnt mean to be an inspiration, but I am humbled that I am.
I seem to be walking a very rocky road.! I would not wish any of the bad times on anyone, not even an enemy.
I just regret that all the bad things have ever happened.
The times ahead are going to be tough I have no doubt.

Mooloo - I'm so sorry at what you have had to go through but you have done the right thing. Try and get a good nights sleep - you know the boys will be safe and that you can visit.

nothing else to say really except you are doing a tremendous job and deserve your holiday at the end of the week

So sorry Mooloo. I hope the boys are with a good family.

I don't know if this helps at all but I've been on the phone to my Health Visitor about my own situation and, because my littlest is officially classed as 'in need', she thinks she can use the CAF (common assessment framework) to help address our housing issues. It's an area which I would never have associated a HV with! But it just reinforces the feeling I have which is to involve every single professional possible - MP, councillor, GP, HV, OT, Adult and Children's services etc

SS are responsible for having contributed to your family breakup where they should have been working to prevent this.

I am in a bit of a sorry state today. Crying comes uppermost.! Trying to be strong.
    Failing dismally.
Twin1 is caring for DGD, her daughter, were going to have a bath but I forgot to put the hot water on, so she is trying to heat it up with the shower. Thank god she is here.
I think that I will be in bed early tonight.!

My doctor has written to the council about my situation (before the boys) and with my copy of the care info for DGD the council have now put me in the high priority band

The things that life has taught me is that you dont get anywhere unless you shout.! Today proved it with the boys. Sadly it was not a decision I wanted to make, but in the long run, it had to be the best call I could make.
I am not as well as I like to think and the first night with the boys just proved it. SS can act if they have to. Housing have to act if they really are pushed.
I do not know individuals cases but I have fought for housing for many a person/family in my time. Not just my own.

If I am of any inspiration to anyone, (which surprises me), then all I would say is that somewhere here there is help.
If I can return anything back to the people here, then I will.

Sometimes having a good cry is a sign of strength, it gets it out of your system and you can then have a good sniff, a good cup of tea and crack on.
Have an early night, the rest will do you good and I'm sure you need it.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
