    Morning,
Well I didnt bother with the wine, I was too tired. I was just talking to BF on the phone when DGD came backdown the stairs. So I took her back up to bed and went myself, that was around 8.20 last night.
I woke around 2am and lay tossing around for a couple more hours, but eventually went back to sleep, weird dreams with my brother and my sister in it? And DGD woke me up around 7.15am . So that was not too bad at all.
We have had breakfast and she is getting out her Igglepiggle jigsaw for us to play now.
I had to cancel the sewing lesson today, as i dont have her mum here to babysit, but I am sure a day at home resting and pottering around the home is just as necessary at the moment.

We as a family, are going to have to chase those Lawyers, we had contacted before. As BF mentioned on the ;phone last night, if the doctors have found no evidence of wrong doing, then surely the grounds for keeping twin2's BF away from the family is now no longer valid? Its just the nasty b!tching from the hostel? So surely we should be able to get the protection order reversed?
But I am going to relax today, (I hope), and just tell twin2 to find out if she can make an appointment with CAB or the family law centre etc.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Mooloo I'm so pleased for you and your family that the children are back with their mum.:T

Although I know twin2's boyfriend has not always been well behaved, he is at least an extra pair of hands to help her with the little ones, which I'm sure she needs at the moment.

Thats exactly what my BF said.
(Personally I would like her to learn to get on without him, as he is juvinielle and disgusting at times. ) But if he didnt do the things he has been blamed for then he does have the right to fight to get back.
Mind you if I had been him, I would have been proving to them that I wanted to be there, and I would have been making those appointments and meetings, but he hasnt helped himself with ringing up the hospital and threatening to take the kids out. etc etc.

right better ring Twin2 and see what she has to do today and make sure she doesnt forget to attend any meetings.

I completely understand your point of view as her mum.

I have a 13 week old baby and a 2 3/4 year old, my OH works long hours but his support makes all the difference to me. I couldn't comprehend having to look after them completely on my own without his support, let alone with twin2's learning difficulties to contend with.

Form about Childbenefit just arrived in the post. Not sure I am entitled to it, if I get local authority funding now. but will send it off anyway. when I find the address for the local authority, office the relevant SW is in. Better not forget to post it back too!.

Twin2 sounded ok on the phone. she hasnt anything she has to do today. So hopefully she can potter in her room and keep the children amused. Roll on the date for her new home.

I can't see why you wouldn't get it. Child benefit is universal and for the child. Kinship Care payments are for the Carer IYSWIM.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Have spent the morning searching the government websites but not getting anywhere. I was just beginning to wonder that I may not be able to get my ESA if I have DGD, I may have to claim Income Support instead? Will this be less? I dont know. Lots to find out about I suppose. Just want to wait until the Kinship is actually started to be paid, or I will be without money, as her mum has just found out.
    Such is life.!

  • Have they indicated how long the backdated kinship payment will be to come to you? x

No, just that my forms would be sent on to the relevant department now.! So I said it better not take 17 weeks for that to happen.
