Have I edite out the right bit? hopeso, having quite a thick moment. So much is going around and around in my head.
It might be best if you deleted all the place names and names of organisations etc. in your post 1856. HTH.....................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Great news. I bet a few heads were rolling in the ss offices. Im sure that ss could help with housing as I know that they do it for foster carers ie finding a bigger house and some funding towards it. Maybe worth asking about.0

To be honest I didnt want heads to roll, I want justice for those who are caring for family, that were not expecting to, that cannot afford to, and that the Law says we are entitled to something, then we should be getting it. If I had had funding for the last 17 weeks, I would not be living from hand to mouth, panicing about the next bill coming in, and if I can burn another log or two on the fire or have to go to bed.
The meetings and all of the things that have been going on, I think are beginning to worry little DGD, she is much more clingy this week, and rebelious. She cried for her Mum yesterday when we left her. She has never done that before. My heart went out to her. She also was awake from around midnight until well after 3am. Playing me up. Again, she normally sleeps the night through.
I will have to be very careful around her, as all the meetings are talking with her there. (Well nearly all).
The next thing I have to think about is the fact that I will probably have her in my care much longer then was anticipated, and this will affect the weekends etc and the times I will be able to set aside to do my sewing, and teaching. Its going to be difficult, to work things out. I had been expecting her to move to Biggest of Mooloo's sooner rather then later, but a telephone call yesterday evening with Biggest went the opposite way then I expected, and it was obvious that they are now re thinking the timings etc, and also that she has decided that she will not be having DGD every weekend now. This is a big blow to me, as it means that my health is going to be stretched, as I wont get the rests I have been getting(ish) at the weekends.
Looks like I will have to rethink quite a lot of things. But at least I will have some money to be able to do the things we have wanted to do, and can afford to keep the car on the road. (I hope). Which means I can take her to places with parks, and animals etc.
Right I better go. She has just disappeared into the kitchen. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi Mooloo,
The other thing you can ask SS about is a Nursery place. That would give you the space? See you later xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

On behalf of Mooloo, I am very happy to say that her darling grandsons are being discharged from hospital, as I write. Mooloo has gone to collect them and do a round trip to bring them home. The relief on her face was palpable as she feared the worst, whilst remaining strong. She asked me to post as it will probably be very late when she gets home and she will be very tired. We had a lovely cuppa and catchup and i had a lovely cuddle with her DGD who is truly a credit to her. Onwards and upwards !!!!!!!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Thank you so much for updating us :A
I'm sure each and everyone of us here is breathing a huge sigh of relief right now. I'm even choking up reading this as I've been closely following recent developments and can't begin to imagine how Mooloo has coped.
