Phew, no bills. Receipt from DS's CBT course, which he passed on Saturday.:j
Some post for the previous tenants, and the ones before them by the looks of things.
And loads of junk mail.
Been reading up on here, and still sitting here since 9.30!! Oops.
DS is upstairs with his music on. He is supposed to be doing his room as its a tip. But its gone a bit quiet up there.
Just looked at my bank account, and Tax Credits seem to have paid me 3 payments very close together. I presume its finalising my payments now that they have my final 2008-2009 income? But I notice the payments are lower then the ones I used to get? Think I will go and telephone them to see whats happening.
Also had a text message from my parents, (in France). Dad says that Ex hubby has not been paying the maintenance in to the bank for the last 3 weeks. I had hoped to have that money transferred to go towards the insurance on DS's Moped.
Now I also have to chase the CSA to find out why!.
Talking of Ex. Had a tearful twin1 on the phone early this morning, her Dad had rung and moaned at her for not getting intouch yesterday for fathers day!.
I dont think he deserves anything from any of them, but she has not sorted herself out yet, and hadnt any money to ring him. I wonder if he has had a go at any of the other girls? When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Apparantly he didnt contact any of the others!. But Biggest of Mooloo had sent him a text to say Happy Fathers Day. Twin2 said she didnt hear anything? But I suppose I will hear it this evening as he is coming around to collect DS's card?
I wonder if he will have any money for the bike he was supposed to have contributed £150 to the purchase of it. Which I never did see ofcourse!!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Brilliant, been on to the CSA and they said although Ex paid the money to them they have refunded it too HIM!!?? But they dont know why so they will have to get back to me!! Great. Another £144 short in the bank!!! Things just cannot keep on going on like this!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

I was a bit low last night. Ended up going to bed around 7.30pm. Tired and depressed.
I am amazed that I managed to sleep, with only a couple of interuptions for the dreaded loo, until gone 8am this morning!.
I did put the washing on at 4am when I got up to go to the loo, as I had to walk past the machine to go to the bathroom!. It looks like a lovely day out there, so I need to hang the wash out now. (If garden wasnt at front of the house I would have already, but am still in my dressinggown. )
Checked the post, non so far today. Checked Emails, all notifications from here.
DS went to Towcester on a push bike, 8 miles? last night. Saved me taking him. He stayed at his mates. Will collect him later today, when I have to go to the doctors to get my prescription.
Now its time to get my lists working!. Or another day will go by before I know it.
BF coming to the cottage tonight. He can help load the wardrobe into the back of my car, so I can take it to his for his daughter when I go to the hospital on Thursday. That will free my front door/dining area where its been for the last 3 or so weeks!!
I want to get my dining room looking more like the room it was before I had to move stuff from the house. Boxes etc are still over running me (and my mums! Gulp). When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
There is a butcher van that comes to the village every Tuesday and Friday. I have just bought some meat and some mushrooms from him to see what he is like.
He sells fruit and veg, and also some tinned foods as well as the normal, mince, steak, chops, his own sausages etc. This may be very useful for me, if I am unwell, and if I cannot use the car, this could help. Obviously not as cheap as getting Mr A to deliver, but if I only need a few things it will be a saving in the long run. (Does mean that I just spent £4 odd trying him out!!). So thats my grocery budget a bit over this month. However I think that it is worth it. I still have food in the cupboards, and the stewing beef I was going to use, in the freezer.
Now its time to put the next lot of washing on the line.
Then back to pottering around the house and tidying up.!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Finally got my act together and done a menu plan to last us until 9/07/09 so far.
Still not got half of the things I wanted to do done. But thats me trying to pace myself and not over do things.
(so I tell myself anyway!!)When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I managed to say NO. Twin2 wants to go to the jobcentre in town with her BF, for 9am on Thursday. I cannot do it, I am at John Radcliffe hospital for 9.20 appointment, so I am not prepared to cancel my appointment that I have waited since February for!
Just been moving a few boxes around in my dinning room. Want to have at least one room tidy before BF comes over. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Morning All,
The sun is out, it helps me to feel more positive.
BF came to see me last night. I did a bung in in the slow cooker, it went down very well, we sat watching TV and did a bit of research on the computer about Prague. We are having a break there in July.
It will be the last holiday for a while by the looks of my SOA!!
I need to write my letters to the various people that may be able to help me, but I really do not know what to say in them?
Time to see what I can do. Keep putting it off becuase I dont know what to say.
DS is still out. Hardly see him. Could be living in this cottage all on my own the amount of times I see him.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Still not heard anything from DS and he is not answering his phone.
I have spent all morning inside, compiling letters and making photocopies of utility bills etc. Dealing with the post that arrived today, and trying to make sense, yet again of my income and outgoings!.
I am awaiting a telephone call back from Oxford City Council as they have sent me a reminder saying I owe them £26.43 for last year, but I only just paid £70.90 that they said was my final payement that was overdue? So where has this come from?
I also want to ask them to then pass me to the Housing Benefit department and tell them that I am going to be putting into writing the request for a reduced payement/discretionary payement for the over payement of Housing Benefit last year. (That I am currently paying back at £11.50 a week).
I would prefer to settle things without going to court. It is horrible enough that I am left with debts again. I had sworn I would never use what I could not have/afford, or be in debt again, and where I was saving up until two months ago, I am now in masses of debt. Well its masses to me anyway. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
