    Hi All

Just back from a weekend in London to see OH. No PAD yesterday but today's PAD is £1.21 to Abominable Amex

Will try and catch up with you all later once I have had a bit of a kip on the sofa (lots of walking, busy week at work and not enough sleep)!

    Day 1:

    Bank Money
Took my dad out for his lunch and had budgeted £20, and spent £18.15, so £1.85 transferred over to my designated savings account for my 1st PAD.
    :T

PAD is like Pringles....once you pop, you can't stop :D

    Welcome back!

  • Hi all,
I love the idea of PAD and just wondered what people do to find the money for the extra payments?
    Any extra income ideas welcome

Mine was more 'virtual' savings when I did it previously.

Example - go shopping, budget £1 for something, spend £0.87 = £0.13p for PAD (but usually on a grander scale).

Or - use a voucher towards shopping, put the 'real' money to one side.

    Selling on e-bay etc..

I am lucky in that I work somewhere with a bottomless pit of overtime so that was where most of my money came from.

I have answered you on my diary also notice that you are losing weight there is a PAD weight loss challenge as well most people weigh on a Thursday but it doesn't really matter Danko is adding up our weight loss total (says she who has put on 2lb:o) if you feel like joining.

    Hello again all.

I am making a second PAD today - £20 - just been over to Wimbledon to buy some books and had set some cash aside but nothing inspired me (and I suspect I secretly wanted to pad it all along, lol)

Didn't see any tennis players mooching around....I am maybe planning on queuing overnight next Friday for Saturday Wimbledon tickets.

I know, not very MSE - ticket and spends for the day will be £100+ and then the beers and meal afterwards....But I'm thinking its only once a year - I am a HUGE tennis fan - and who knows if I will be in London next year and how many other Wimbledons I'll be able to get to? (I live about 3 miles away from the grounds now) But thats a lot for a day. What do you think PADDERS? We can't PAD absolutely everything can we? :o

Andy - in the last month I have spent about £200+ on concert tickets and tickets for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

If we PADded everything we would go insane.

    Have fun at the tennis!!tennis-006.gif
