I know - I love 'em all! Vanilla Toffee Crunch is my fav tho :p
After tomorrow, I'm a sugar free zone. I read Stephen Fry gave up bread, potatoes and sugar to shed the flobbage, so that's me from tomorrow!
Hopefully Silaqui, I'll be following in yours and Danko's footsteps! Thanks for the kind words of support Danko, I'm dreading it!

Thanks for this inspiring post Paul :T - really hope you get there for 2012.
What you said probably speaks for most of us on here. I certainly guesstimated my debts to be much lower, but being on here makes me determined to pay it off and it is satisfying to see it gradually going down (sadly up again in my case:o).
And you're right - the odd treat keeps you going.

Enjoy your film - you deserve it! :)

Indeed. I thought the film was VERY well done. Any sci fi fan will love it IMO. Won't give anything away though as wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone who's not yet sen it.

I'm sure that those lump sums were a very big help indeed. And there I was thinking that you and OH must be big earners ;) . Even so though, what you paid off was still a good achievement. Although I want to pay off 47 grand in just over three years, realistically, if I manage to reduce my debt by 10 grand a year, I will regard that as a very good achievement. I have no big items that I can sell. Perhaps several second hand work tools that I may just get £500 for plus a wide assortment of other unused items which are suitable for a boot sale (might get £100 - £150 for them). I just have to rely more and more on getting lots of work done and slashing my spending as far as possible. I reckon there is still room to increase my business turnover by 10 - 15 grand a year. The problem I have is that it's hard to find the time and energy to canvass more work when I'm already working pretty hard. I could employ a canvasser to bump ity up another £500 a month . The trouble is that I prefer to target my own work.

Don't burn yourself out with too much work or you will be back where you started sure and staedy is the way and you need me time too. Did you enjoy the film?

    DTxx

Cross post I see you did enjoy the film that's brill

No danger of that - I prefer Independent Foreign films myself! ;) Glad you enjoyed it though.
Right must get some sleep. Just psyched myself up for my race tomorrow and I'm buzzing now!!

    Night all, Mac x

Good morning all you early risers!

    Good luck for today Mac!

Paul glad you enjouyed yourself and thank you for the total! Sarah well done on clearing your card!!

Happy father's day (if Paul or Andy have kids!! :D)

It's not going to be happy father's today for me, I've got a load of stuff to do but OH has requested some 'me time' which I think is really selfish given that it's father's day...shouldn't he be hanging out with the kids? So I'm going to take them out for the day instead.

I didn't know if I was going to pad today or not but have decided to pay another £10.50

Hope you all have a fab sunday x

    Hi all

PAD of £1.50 to DH cap one cc please. I hate doing small pads but i suppose its better than nothing:mad:

I am getting so sad that the first thing i think of doing when in get up in the morning is making my pad and seeing how everyone is doing:D

Paul - some dodgy hugs on the way to you:A

Angelic - am afraid i agree with you totally that he should be spending time with the kids on Fathers Day. He's having a laugh surely!

Terri - Any word from your darling daughter yet?

Hope everyone else is doing well on this dreary Sunday morning. Have to go to church this morning as it's a children's service and DS2 is singing, then nothing much planned.
