I am making a second PAD today - £20 - just been over to Wimbledon to buy some books and had set some cash aside but nothing inspired me (and I suspect I secretly wanted to pad it all along, lol)
Didn't see any tennis players mooching around....I am maybe planning on queuing overnight next Friday for Saturday Wimbledon tickets.
I know, not very MSE - ticket and spends for the day will be £100+ and then the beers and meal afterwards....But I'm thinking its only once a year - I am a HUGE tennis fan - and who knows if I will be in London next year and how many other Wimbledons I'll be able to get to? (I live about 3 miles away from the grounds now) But thats a lot for a day. What do you think PADDERS? We can't PAD absolutely everything can we?
I don't blame you, many moons ago (about 1986) I lived between the common and the courts at college there and the guys I was at college with worked at the tournament.......................got paid loads, so for next year apply for a job for 2 weeks and you get to watch it for free............the lads were ball boys and the girls served stawberries :T
My PAD for today is £2.33Debt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
I'm not PaD-ding yet but just wanted to say good morning!
It's good to see you back, Jo
Welcome to the returning members and the new comers - good luck on your PaD-ding journey!
Well done, Macgirl on completing your run.
Enjoy Wimbledon, Andy. I don't blame you for going.
Have a good day everyoneOne step at a time0 -

Back to work today. Boo. I am going to get some holiday in the diary as not had a real stretch of more than two / three days this year yet. Thanks for the Wimbledon shouts - I am going to go and camp out weather permitting - I was having one of those guilt spend moments...
