Good morning,
Just a quickie if I may ..:D
I have a debt with Mbna Alliance and Leicester credit cards, getting loads of calls even though I have explained to 3 of their call centre staff.
Anyway, I've had a letter from RMA saying they are dealing with it now.
Am I right in saying RMA is MBNA in house ??
Do I need to tell CCCS anything ?
Cheers

RMA work for a number of creditors, but for me they were inhouse to MBNA, though they passed it back to them pretty quickly.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
Hope everyone is getting on well.I was hopin thing would settle down after my first 2 payments but they are not. Triton credit services , mint credit cards dca have called me today threatening legal action as they said they have received no payment since my £1 token in april. I told them 2 payments have been made and im with payplan. They said they have received nothing from payplan whatsoever and to get it sorted with them asap or they bringing legal action. Whats my next step? I will phone payplan but i knwo they will say they have paid it and triton are saying they havnt received anything. Where do i go from here.sorry i started a new thread on it as well just thought it my best way to get responsesThanks all and hope everyones doing well0

I'm afraid you just have to keep getting PP to resend the Letter of Authority and Financial Statement to them., PP tend to fax stuff over, so if you can get a direct fax number from Triton, then that may help, or Mint for that matter. They do get the message eventually.
A couple of my creditors just refused to acknowledge the plan and PP must have faxed the details off to them 3 or 4 times till they accepted.
It does get rather frustrating I'm afraid!DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
Yep il get onto payplan first thing monday morning and ask them to contact triton and explain they have sent payments and then resend authority and financial statement. Hopefully something will work out0

Been thinking and just wondered what everyone else is doing...
If at the end of the month I have , say, £50 left over should I pay it to my debts directly, or to CCCS or put it in a savings account for F+F's further down the line ?
Doesn't happen very often but hypothetically, what would you do ?
Hope all you DMPers are having a lovely stress free weekend

Hey SS
As far as I'm aware, CCCS say you shouldn't overpay creditors as it shows them you have more money available than on your budget. As you say it doesn't happen very often, I would put it in a savings account (ISA perhaps?) in case of any emergencies (car repairs/major household repairs/personal crisis etc) and if such emergency happens, you've got it covered... If such emergency doesn't happen then you've got a nice tidy sum for a F&F.
