jeese they have been a flippin nightmare, I think it will defo be better to goto a DCA. How are you getting on with the rest of your creditors? x
Hellooooo Leeeese
hahahaha @ your signature.. :rotfl:
Hmmm as for my creditors.. Still nothing is set in stone.
I am convinced it's a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.
Well.. I think in the case of each creditor.. its MANY left and right hands.
I keep getting lots of the standard letters.. and not much of anything else.
I don't take that as 'being ignored' .. I really do see it as that they just haven't caught up with themselves yet at all.
Which is also why I think it's important to talk to them sometimes.. At least to SAY it.. and get someone to HEAR it. Otherwise it's just going round and round and round waiting for it all to click into place (eventually)
I am paying everyone my offer payments each month (all on Standing Order from a separate account) all except stupid Hitachi Cap.. :wall: ... I'm paying them with Postal Orders.. (which they are not cashing):rolleyes: (but I'm keeping proof I am TRYING to pay them)
My only real concern now is that I made my budget soooo tight..
I had to really.. because otherwise I really don't have enough to give them much of anything at all.
it wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't flinging money aside to (one day) offer full and finals.
So for the time being.. I cant really do that much.. (I was putting in quite a lot) .. I will only be able to bung some extra in that account every now and again.. not regularly.. or my budget wont work. :wall:
Anyhoooooooo.. meant to be a Heatwave from Sunday.. :T

Today I have sent off recorded delivery letters to all my creditors on my CCCS DMP informing them that my husband was made redundant on Wednesday and they will be receiving £10 token payments until he finds work.
I joyously await the threatening letters that our bound to fall on my mat in a few days time. Oh hum0 -

YAY!! well done! :T
and those letters will come..
But absolutely.. dont worry about them.. (I know I keep saying this) .. But they are only 'standard' letters fired off the computers.. no one sits down and thinks 'Right.. I need to write to Mrs SeaThreePeeO' ...
There computers just know us as account numbers.. ('I am a naaaaame.. not a NUM-Berrrrr' ~ The Prisoner) :rotfl:
They don't see the lovely people we are...
They see we are behind.. in default etc.. and fire off the letters to our addresses.
Thats all..

Oo I forgot to say.. (I forget who without checking my records.. :rotfl:) .. But two of them told me I could only do it if I was with a Debt Management company.
I wrote back saying I knew that wasn't true.. and that I was 'under the guidance' Of PayPlan and National Debt Line. (i'm not.. well.. other than getting my info pack at the start)... and that they had told me I was well within my rights to do my own DMP.. so thats what I am doing. (so THERE!!)
:rotfl:
But.. I await their replies. (but as you know.. we just keep making our payments regardless of what they say.. until we get passed on or whatever)

The timing couldn't be better really as 1st was going to be our first incresed payment to Lloyds after we managed to pay off a family debt (our freezer packed up in January). So I imagine they won't be too please to receive £10 this month instead of the £238 promised.
Doesn't bother me anymore as this is the second time in 7 months DH has been made redundant. What's the worst they can do to us? We local authority housing, so they can't take our house, we don't drive and they cannot make us sell the children. Although some days I could do!0 -

Thats right.. .. I keep trying to think of worst case scenarios.. and as long as I have all those covered.. (what to do IF.. etc) .. Then whatever they throw at me I can handle.. (somehow anyway).. :rotfl:Very proud of trying to deal with my debts. LBM 04/09

Close, I have a pre teen and a toddler. Sometimes I wonder if I have been very bad in a past life0
-
:hello: everyone
just starting to get a few letters, most of them still polite, asking me to ring them(no,i'm not,I changed my number for a reason!).Sent off my letters about 10 days ago informing them we are setting up the DMP on 1st august.Next were very pleasant and thanked us for our £1,as did lloyds tsb loan-then they promptly took 3/4 of the loan payment out of dh's account:rolleyes:,thankfully we had emptied the account and so we just added the overdraft they created to the DMP(never used the overdraft facility,so a new thing for us!).Had a worrying few days wondering wether wages etc were going into the new co-op account, but fingers crossed the payments are all sorted now:j.Just want to get everything started now,but need to send wage slips to cccs and need this months to get an accurate figure.Sainsburys have sent a few letters threatening that my credit rating will be ruined etc, like I didnt know!.
Sorry to hear of your dhs redundancy seathreepeeo, hope he finds work soon-know what you mean on the kids front,we have a teen and a toddler too(and a few more!).Eupho, hope hitachi see sense soon, must be very frustrating.
