Hi folks
have been reading through this thread but not sure it has the answers for me cause I use a mac - so apologies if this has been covered earlier.
I am on a mac powerbook G4 using OSX 10.5.7 - i have both safari and firefox.
I cannot get couponet to recognise anything at all. it doesn't want to install the coupon printer onto my computer and I can't use the CCleaner as its a windows programme.
If any mac users out there can print off couponet coupons please can you let me know how you did it or any useful hints and tips you have - I'm now down to £4 worth of coupons I can use so any help to help me save more would be wonderful.
Ta peeps0 -
I switched my BT Home Hub off for about 10mins and it changed my IP address but when I tried to print from couponnet still had not luck, so I don't think it has anything to do with my IP address. Also have emailed couponnet and they never reply to me. Will get my thinking cap on and see if I can try something else.0

Why won't my coupons print?
If you're experiencing problems printing coupons there may be a few reasons:
1. You don't have a default printer or your printer isn't ready
You must have a default printer selected for your computer, and it must be a real, paper-based printer, not a virtual fax machine or file printer or PDF creator. Follow the instructions that came with your computer for setting up your printer. Also, make sure your printer is turned on, loaded with paper, has enough toner or ink, etc. If your printer is a multi-function device (print, fax, copy, scan) please make sure the default printer is the print function, not the fax function.
2. Your operating system or browser is incompatible
Coupon printing is currently supported on Windows 98, NT4, 2000, ME, XP and Vista when used with Internet Explorer 5+, Netscape 7+, FireFox 1.0.7+ and most MSN and AOL browsers.
Coupon printing is also supported on Macintosh when using Safari under OS X 10.3 and higher.
Coupon printing is not supported by the Compuserve 2000 7.0 browser. While connected to Compuserve, use Internet Explorer or another browser to print your coupons.
Coupon printing is not supported on Linux or WebTV.

to initially install the software you may however have to turn off pop-up blockers, allow cookies, and turn off firewall/antivirus softwareIt's nice to be nice .....

As far as we can tell, couponnet has two main blocking systems currently in place:-
1) IP blocks...in which case your PC/laptop will work from another location/IP address
2) the one that most of this thread is about...software glitches stuck in the PC registry...the PC/lappy will not work on couponnet anywhere unless you restore the PC to pre-glitch time.
The techniques described near the beginning of the thread have worked for a number of people who have followed them to the letter, but many have also been unable to get it to work, for various reasons....good luckIt's nice to be nice .....

by PMhi veggie, im confused.
lastnight i went to print a coupon in firefox, (on my laptop) and it asks to install c.printer:eek:................
is this because i possibly havn't printed before in f.fox?? as i have got it installed from using IE. normally i just print from the pc when reformatting, but went to do a c.net one. on lappy.
i thought you would only need the one installation of c.printeras it doesn't say this on the pc. when i use both browsers. XXXX
ps..............ididn't d/load it, and yes i can print in IE without above mess.
Every now and then, I get this message on a machine.....and have found that IF i download it, I get blocked...if I print off from the couponnet site direct, say the bingo or the national auto, then it resets and either prints the other coupon straight away, or does so after an F5 reload of the page:beer:It's nice to be nice .....

my problems with adobe flash player are sorting - but I have dowloaded Adobe reader 9 as a firefox add on as it never worked with IE and i am having the same problems with firefox.
I see the coupon on screen, dowload it to pdf but it will not print
I get a message Adobe reader (not responding) and the screen freezes and then nothing. I send the error report and get a message to download the newer verson of Adobe Reader but it is the same one that I have and I am going round in circles again - installing, uninstalling and installing again in the hope of it coming right but it doesn't
Surely it is not another corrupt fileI had not heard of anything like that until my other problems:eek:
I have just had updates sent but still can't print anything
Any advice/help/ please as i rather hoped to get the pharmaton couponI am not a beige person:D0 -
