I always think fish tanks are "typical council".
From my younger days I remember that everybody I knew that had a council flat - and was probably on/off the dole - had a fish tank, wall to wall video collection and some stand up 14" high Elvis dolls on the hearth.
I was even in a scabby council house one night with a big tank on its own stand, when the usual/inevitable fight ensued and the whole lot went over.0 -

Most men seem to like looking at fish in garden centres and things.I think fish are pretty but goodness knows cleaning out fish poop is low on my list of must ave lifestyle accesories for a home.:o

It winds me up though.
Because I can't stop thinking that it was idiots like this with their cheap and easy acces to credit and their over-the-top consumerist tendencies that have contributed to the mess we now find our country and economy in.
