No one does sound beds like the BBC. I might just stay tuned....

that's because BBC have blanket agreements so you can have fun sticking whatever commercial music you like on it whereas commerical channels tend to use the music by a company called audio network because once you pay for an initial licence it is basically free. you hear the same soundalike tracks across all sorts of productions.

They are also very good at buying rights from lesser known artists who might not be otherwise commercially well known. :)

Flicked on the channel four equivalent and wondering how wise it is. Encouraging, ven gently, people to stretch from £70k to £123k for ''their perfect home'' over which they have seemingly little input.

I get that having an architect in to help like that is a fantastic opportunity, just...what happened to one room at a time...or staging things for affordabilty?

Edited: ouch, especially when he can't finish it for the budget! The peeps were ''disappointed'' I'd be worse, but if you sacrifice involvement and control I guess this is the price: you can't make budget cuts/coprimises that suit you better.

I know but George is gorgeous - so who cares about the ensuite bathroom (apart from the owner obviously).

I can't decide. He is reminiscent of Mr. P as it goes, but he's just so earnest.
