Well for money saving ideas for baby stuff (I have been at it since prior to being pregnant initially, but more since 12 week scan) try your local classifieds in the free papers, pre-loved.co.uk, Ebay, NCT nearly new sales (just got a Qunniy Buzz and Dreami cot for £65 in good condition, 2006/2007 version) and the best places are car boot sales (got moses baskets and stands and loads of lovely clothes from Mothercare and Next for as little as 10p and 20p each, some of them hadn't even been worn)- clearly if you guys want all new stuff then these suggestions aren't so good.

Keep an eye on Boots.com etc as I got the Bebe Cofort Loola 2008 version for less than half price as I think they were clearling stock for the newer version.
Also Tesco do the double up voucher thingy that you can use in the ababy dept in store or online until 30th Sept this year.

Went into a Mamas & Papas shop on Mon and there are some lovely things in there, but nearly had a heart attack at the prices! My head is now programmed to car boot costs!

I know we've all had the weight discussion, and the bio-oil / mositurising of the bump and boobs discusson. But what about everyones skin - as in facial complexion. This is one area i am actually happy with. I haven't needed to wear foundation in at least 6 weeks. So that saves money, all i do is put on a bit of blusher or bronzer in the morning, because i have such fair coloring.

I wash with boots botanics facial scrub and use nivea soft to moisurise.
And i just know i'm going to put a curse on it, but i have soft, clear skin.
One wonder of pregnancy i am actually liking.:T

I have always had some spots on my chest and back, but since being pregnant my skin is smooth and lovely - I can't stop touching my back! I just hope it stays that way after the baby's born!

My skin is crap! I have spots on my chin and one under my nose which won't heal!! I have loadsa white milk spots around my eyes as well!
I actually read the Bio-Oil leaflet and it says to put it on thighs as well which I hadn't been doign but am now. I tend to use the left over Bio-Oil on my face.

I am eating a huge bag of cherries, grapes and blueberries - I went to ALDI last night and their fruit is soooooooooo cheap!

Public transport - what is that? :rotfl: I live in North Cumbria, unfortunately it doesn't exist for us. Is it that white/blue and orange bus that goes past our house once a day. I'll start saving for the taxi now and if it is at night and OH is around then I'll have a nice little pot of 'treat' cash to spend. Thanks for the views girls.

I'm so jealous :(, since I got pregnant my facial acne has been out of control and I feel guilty every time I use any strong creams in case it does any damage although the midwife said they were ok.

I can't rave on about car boots enough! Problem is everything is so cheap you probably end up buying things you wouldn't normally!

My skin is good as well no spots and I use to suffer badly so I just wear tinted moisturer now. I use johnsons baby wipes daily and an avon face mask once a week.

I have been using the mama mio tummy oil which is lovely and no signs of stretch marks yet.. I know no guarantee but I'm going to try all I can not to get any, been advised to keep moisturising boobies as well.

My skin and hair are brilliant! Backne is gone, hair is glossy and lovely - it's great!

I use BioOil but forgot to do my boobs till it was too late.
