That would be a bit harsh, lol!!0 -
carlamagee wrote: »unfortunately not! when i was querying it, i phoned the tax credits and told them about the situation and they said i would still recieve ctc, but not wtc because i would be claiming IS!!
It is really infuriating me, cos I am only claiming it because they advised me to. and now i think i would be better off not claiming it.
honeypop - i just looked at the downloaded form, but have no access to a printer.
think im gonna go along and fill in a form and see what happens....worse they can say is no, right? im no gonna go to jail for filling in a form, am I!? lol
Bah to tax credits  deffo fill in the form for MA then, i'm sure IS is not the right benefit anyway, though of course I dont know your circs.

I lost my job so I went on ML at 25 weeks and haven;t worked since! I've loved it to be honest, it's given me time to chill out and get stuff done in the house, plus I get so tired I don't know how I'd have coped at work - I was desperate to leave by the time my contract ended.
I need to do more housework today and get on with things as I have a friend coming round later, plus I need to start writing letters to my MP about my JSA battle and chase a purchase order number which I have been due since April! Grrr.
Thing is I just can't be bothered any more, I'm so tired I am fed up of fighting everyone to get things done.
Anyway, enough of me ... GOOD LUCK MM!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I hope everyone else is okay, I'm okay I guess - I just wish I didnt feel like such carp all the time! Oh well, no more work for me for a while, i'm on 4 weeks annual leave at the moment and go straight to mat leave on 13th July! I'm only 29 weeks and cant believe how early I have given up work but I couldnt hack it anymore
I think it depends how physically demanding your jobs is. If you are on your feet all day, or out and about, I think it must be much harder than an office job. I sit on my bottom most of the day (on here a lot!!!!) so I am trying to stay til the end (or at least I have told them I will stop when I am 39 weeks).
I remember that Sami (I think) posted a few months back about the cheapest place to source Raspberry Leaf Tea - does anyone still have a linky? I haven't really go the time to do the research myself. Thanks0 -
Carla, when I had Aimee (5yrs ago) I just about qualified for MA and once she was born I also qualified for a top up of IS of about £5 a week, but like skinty I'd lost my job when I was pregnant so wasn't technically employed. If I were you I'd apply for MA, I don't see how you can't qualify if you've worked for the last 7 years!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

efrieze, holland and barret are the cheapest for the tea bags... And as someone who doesn't drink fruit teas... I thought they were quite nice!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Efrieze - RLT would probably be different prices now as Sami had looekd at current offers etc.
Carla - if you go on this website and fill in the info it will tell you what you are entitled to get. I though everyone got MA if they couldn't get SMP!

Fidget - You have to get your MATB1 to your employer by the end of your 25th week if you don't it can affect whether you can get SMP or not.
If you complete the website above it will tell you what date that is - then ring the stupid surgery and leave a message for your MW asking for the MATB1 to be left for you. The MW's here do it all the time, you shouldn't need to see them to get it.
I had mine at 22 weeks because my next MW appointment wasn't until 26 weeks (tomorrow) and I needed it! I'll get my HiPG tomorrow because was too early at last appointment!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I know this has probably been done, many times - but how far on were you all when you told people?
I'm 14+4 and have only told one friend so far.0
