Cheers all will go to chemist when plumber has came.
ofch decided to stop working on sunday night, he came yesterday and said the pump has gone and has taken the boiler type thing away to fix it. No heat (don't care its warm enough) but no hot water for my baths or washing dishes etc etc is not much fun. Don't even want to think about what it is going to cost!!!Coming soon............
Brand new baby first showing in November!
Brand new baby boy (Matthew) born 3 weeks early weighing a diddly 5lb 4 oz!!0 -
I was having them every day Friday until Sunday, then nothing since...typical. I am really feeling it now, the pressure on my knees and ankles from the extra weight is causing a lot of pain, on top of the spd, and most nights I am awake with the pain after each set of painkillers has wore off.
Am debating going to the swimming pool for a while this afternoon, just to keep moving but take the weight off, can't exactly swim very far but bobbing around might just help.
How are you today?0 -
hope everythings ok skinty x

Afternoon - just! - all
Nothing much different going on with Rhys today. Had a locum registrar look at him this morning so wasn't exactly a full report like we usually get but nothing has gotten worse from yesterday so that's fine. He's had another 90 mins off the CPAP machine this morning and did perfectly well againHe's back on it now but only on 21% oxygen which is very good as it's almost the same as air (meaning he's needing less support to keep his sats up). The registrar had obviously read all of the notes as she knew what he'd been through and described him as a survivor!
Tia, speaking of sats, sorry I can't remember if I answered you yesterday - he is still setting the alarms off cos he keeps getting to 100His limits are 85 and 99 - don't know if that's the same for everyone or if they set them for the individual
Glad you got to come home, but take care of yourself! *need a waggy finger smilie!*
Rhys may be having tests on his eyes this afternoon. He is 24 days old and should be between 28 and 35 days old to have the tests, but the doctor who does them only comes in every two weeks so by the time he comes in again Rhys will be 38 days old. Swings and roundabouts as to whether they'll be done four days early this time or three days late next time, so just got to see what the doctor thinks later. Apparently it's not painful but it is uncomfortable so I'll be there to hold his hand.. just waiting for the nurse to call for me.
Righty, almost lunchtime.. hurrah!
Hope everyone has a good day and glad all the scans went well (in the end!) yesterdayxx

Good luck skinty. You'll be fine. I had some tiny spotting yesterday and my doctor's gone away till Monday, so I called the hospital and they said it's probably just my body getting ready to give birth and if it continues today to call back.
It's ten after one. I went back to bed for half an hour at 11 and slept till now. Right now I am supposed to be in a meeting. Oops.
Edit: elle, did you talk to the nurses about Nasty Nurse last night? Did I miss it?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Anyone know the chances of survival at 33 weeks?
Well DS2 is allright, his problems are related to the abruption NOT the gestation (33weeks). I was told last night that at 29 weeks they wouldn't worry too much about baby unless there was an incident at birth (which could happen to full term babies too), they just like to get some steroids going first and a nice easy and quick delivery.
Fingers crossed it's just thrush or your cervix being naughty.
Elle, yeah, I mentioned the stats. No idea if they set them for different babies or not but his sound good! Did you have a chat about the nasty nurse? I tell you that Rhys is going to be trouble when older!
And I'm off for my scan and day carte, see you at dinner time.0
