LOL I have kingsize too, mr troo has to do the duvet cos I get tangled
Ours are changed once a week, twice a week in the summer. I'd love to change them every day, I love clean sheets. But I can't be botheredBulletproof0 -
So far I am feeling relieved - I thought you were all going to say once a week, but fortnightly seems to be more the norm, which is what I generally manage to do - but maybe less in the winter as drying is a problem.
I do remember being a student though and only washing my sheets once or twice a term - disgusting now I think about, but I was too broke to go to the launderette and did my clothes by hand, but the bedding was too big to contemplate doing this way. But as they say..."it never did me any harm"...0 -
Every week for me.
If I won the lottery I would have clean bedding every day - would happily pay for someone else to do it. I LOVE the fresh smell and feel of clean bedding!0 -
Hi Jap,
There's an older thread that might help so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the replies together.

Thanks - I hadn't spotted that - but merging seems to have killed a lively thread dead!0 -
I do mine every week, but I stagger the washing so i don't have 4 lots to do in one day.
Wed -my 2 boys (10 and 11) strip their beds and bring bedding down to be washed. I put the fresh duvet covers on for them, and they do the fitted sheets and pillow cases. During the school hols they are expected to do the duvets too.
Fri - I do our bed and dd's. Dd is 7 and being trained to strip her bed - it's taking a while
I never iron any bedlinen. I don't fold it particularly carefully either as I don't care how my linen cupboard looks
A timesaving tip when putting duvet covers on (probably been mentioned already) is to store the covers inside out. That way you can put your arms inside and grab the top corners. Still holding the corners of the duvet cover you grab the top corners of the duvet and shake the cover down the duvet.0 -
Once or twice a week for me - depends on what shift i am working.0

Every other week - feel a bit embarrassed saying that after vik's post though!!
What about Towels - do you only use them once?
Um, yeah... I do... Man am i weird!:oYou lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

Ours get washeed when my OH takes them off the bed and puts them in the washing machine
Working full time with two boys and a husband that do far too much sport there's always something more important to wash!
I just wish I could get OH to re-make the bed after stripping it ...0 -
