So why can he not open a bank account elsewhere?.. I opened a tsb one with no id at all

yes but you're YOU. I CANNOT imagine anyone NOT allowing you to open an account:rolleyes:;):D:D:D and clearly you have NO money to launder...

I've been to see West Side Story. It was really good. DD was most put out that I didn't take her...and I left the kids at home for the first time.

ye gods! teaspooons! and you think I'm odd!
(I noticed though that they are COMMUNAL teaspoons - what about half life of domestic teaspoons....I have some that are over 25!)

Oh and I have a most distressed teen..GF has dumped him due to his behaviour (nothing major, just ignoring her and always letting her phone him - I did warn him!) and he has decided he wants her back. I am training him well. Flowers and a note of apology have been delivered. He does a very good morose face. DD is revelling in his discomfort totally oblivious to the fact that it will be her turn one day...

    Hi everyone

Been a flipping long day and tomorrow will be even longer I suspect :( it will be 3 years and I won't be able to run off for the day on my own as it is the weekend. Swimming lessons first thing and then we are going to see some friends to pass an hour or three!

Hope soappie et al have a good meet :)

Hugs AnW's mum and Miss A and W.

Soappie, I'm sure that it was Motisfont Abbey that they took us too. Have a good time there

Valli, how nice to go and see West Side Story, I love the film. Shame about the ending tho. I hate that about Romeo and Juliet too. It annoys me!

Am going to bed now, night all

he's (DS) been a bit 'not bothered' lately (nice timing - her birthday was last weekend!) and so she has taken the initiative and now he's hurting.
What's really scary is his paranoia - which his dad has - the attitude that people (ie GFs) aren't trustworthy and are lying - that's why his dad and I are no longer together - and I am determined that DS is going to have to learn to trust without evidence.
(I was studying for my degree and OH was obsessed with the idea that I was messing about which I wasn't. But when I look back he just did not trust women at all - his mum had had affairs and he had the belief that women had affairs while men didn't - based purely on his own parents...if I was late home (and I mean minutes)... from my evening job at bingo he was so odd about it...
And DS is displaying the same behaviour here.
Interestingly exOH got together with a GF soon after our split with whom he lived and then she 'wanted more space' This was all shared with my kids including his belief that GF had someone else.
Even now, over five years down the line and me without a date he still will not accept that I wasn't 'seeing' someone.
So goodness knows what he is drip feeding the kids...
(I can partly see where OH was coming from as his mother was/is a right slug though! - but he still talks to her and now has nothing to do with his 'innocent' dad! a definite WIL)

    Morning All

AnW'sMum I thinking of you today. I hope that having to get on with normality will be a help, not even more of a difficulty for you. :) Positive vibes for you love. (((hugs)))

DD3 is up and ON IT!!! this morning. Blooming heck, I wish I could work out the variables. One day she's ok, next day wow! She's massively impulsive, and into EVERYTHING

Today will be spent mostly tidying, and perhaps purchasing the paint for the LR. At the moment, I'm just desperately waiting for DD3's meds to kick in. She's already tried to cut the dog's ear with a pair of scissors

ETA: I'm first to post this morning, that's unusual!!! Is everyone sleepy today?:p

    Morning Sarah & Crafty,

I was wondering where everyone was too. I've been up for a while since a neighbour's car alarm went off. I suppose it's no bad thing though as have to pop to collect a parcel that wasn't delivered yesterday. Looks a bit grey outside, so hope it's not going to rain and spoil our walk. Will have to take a waterproof I think just in case.

AnW & your mum, I'll be thinking of you all today.

OH did very well with the washing up last night, and all of the cooking stuff bar the cake tins, coolers and icing bowl were done before dinner (I hadn't emptied them before it), and he washed down the side for me, so a lot tidier in the kitchen now. Looking forward to trying the cake this afternoon, as it was quite late by the time I'd iced it, and the icing hadn't set, so we decided to have it today. It used up practically the whole jar of lemon curd that I bought yesterday though, so not a cheap cake to make really.

Well I'd better go and work out what to wear and then head off to the post office.

    Have a nice day everyone,

    sexymouse xx

PS I heard briefly from toots last night - she's really bored and looking forward to coming home. I've said that we all miss her and that the place isn't the same without her. She's hoping to be home in the next few days.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
