We certainly will!I would like to come if it were in Romsey, but don't want to put everyone out. Is it ok with everyone else?
Give me 15 minutes - I'll find somewhere!
PollyB - I'm completely understand! I am determined we will not leave Newport without a passport for DS. I have kinsfolk in Cardiff so if the worst comes to the worst we can probably crash there for the night.
Off to source walks around Romsey that aren't too far and are easy to find...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Off to put a tenner on Rip Van Winkle in the Epsom Derby. C'mon girls.
Also, DH is actually fork-farming. At the end of term we always have way more forks than we actually own. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
OK, hows about we meet here

at 11.30am tomorrow (Saturday)
Mottisfont is a beautiful village and if we're feeling flush, we could pay to go into the abbey grounds, otherwise we could just tramp the streets for an hour then do lunch. I can pick up an OS map on the way...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Boddy hope your DD’s leg is better soon
Grateful, LOL at the teaspoons! :rotfl:I looked up that study and its hilarious! Told DH and he said ‘it’s not teaspoons you need to worry about, it’s knives’ in a very grumpy voice! There’s never a knife there when he wants one it seems! How do you accumulate your forks?
Sexy, I’m sure my headache is because of the weather. Even painkillers aren’t touching it. We have had a massive change of weather and I feel like I have my head in a vice. Hope you are feeling better soon xx
Frodders, can you block the number? As for feeling bad at not replying to friends, to be honest she doesn’t sound like much of a friend. But then I don’t know her. Hugs to you what ever happens with this woman
Welcome Macgirl

Tomorrow I am out early, we are going to help a friend to move. I'm a bit worried about how she will cope as she doesn't cope very well with changes and with living alone. She has mild autism and severe depression and has been living with a friend for a couple of years. She's just managed to get a place of her own, but only because the friend cant cope with her living there anymore. I dont think she really wants to move. I hope she will be ok. She's going to get a little kitten so that should help take her mind off things, and will give her a reason to keep going.

Oh, on the subject of teaspoons, I saw a wonderful invention at the National Trust shop on Wednesday. It is called a spork - one end is a spoon, the other end is a fork and along one side of the fork is a serrated edge that you can use for cutting open the side of your mouth every time you take a mouthful - very useful for picnics
Soappie is Motisfont the place with all the roses?
ETA: I was rummaging around in a drawer earlier and found some chocolate! I feel more incentivised to follow Pigpen's instruction to tidy up a drawer more often!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

That pub looks quite nice soappie - am off to bed in a minute so will check in the morning to see what the verdict is from everyone else, cos my head is pounding (hope you'rs improves too rose), and it looks like greenbee and froddy aren't about either. Nite all!

I also remember a place with a moat and swans - that was nice. I do like NT places. They are so restful."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
