  • I'm trying to use up some of my old chemical cleaning products and not replace them - but can I use Stardrops for everything? Washing the floor? Cleaning the shower? Cleaning the oven?

Any advice on using Stardrops much appreciated!

Many years ago as a student with two small children and no money I used Stardrops all the time. Over the intervening years I had all but forgotten it existed until finding this thread.
I was determined to find some but thought it might be tricky. However found it today in Wilkinsons (saw the store as we drove past and made OH stop on the offchance) for 58p. I am delighted.:j

I have spent the day cleaning my kitchen with my first bottle of stardrops and am very impressed - it also cleans up spilt engine oil - I was amazed - it had got spilt all over my front doorstep a bucket of diluted stardrops and a broom and it was clean in minutes! - well pleased. Had also put microfibre cloths on my shopping list and while cleaning all the cupboards etc I found a pack of e cloths I had bought years ago and never used - so another result and one thing less to buy

It will clean just about everything . I am not sure if its flammable or not though, so I would keep it away from naked flames.

i find it fab for washing the cars and motorbikes
i willnever use anything else to wash them with now
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

  • I haven't used it on the oven but have used it for the following:

    Bathroom/Kitchen floor
    Stainless steel sink
    Ceramic bath & sink
    Tiles

You can also use it to clean windows but I'm still working through my window cleaner - I was so impressed with it I bought a bottle for a friend who is a cleaning fanatic and she loves it too.:D

since reading these boards about stardrops i got some and heres what i use it for
    1.bathroom and loo
2.windows (with a micro fibre cloth of course)
    3.washing the woodwork
    4.cooker hob and oven
5.laundry(just a little bit tho coz it is quite bubbly)
    6.laminate floor
    7.floor tiles
    8.carpet
9.walls(gets grease spots off in a wipe)
    10.window blinds(the plastic ones)
11.soaking net curtains before they go in the washer
12.inside fridge and freezer(again only a drop in bucket of water)
    13.cleaning shoes and trainers
    14.dogs bed
    15.cats bed
16.diluted to wipe over leather suite
17.scrubbing the yard(works a treat on those mossy bits)
18.cleaning the car inside and out...............

erm yeah i think i use it for just about everything really.
cleaning cupboard now contains just stardrops, starpine, half a bottle of window cleaner(that hubby can use in his van coz i wont use it no more but he may as well use it up) and a bottle of bleach and laundry tabs
its saved me £'s on what i used to spend on different cleaning stuff and does the job loads better.im now a truly converted stardropaholic :rotfl:
