I am using up the last of my old household helpers and will in future only be using Stardrops for cleaning. BUT with all the talk of how great Stardrops is, I am scared that the supermarkets will catch on and put up the price
So I have just bought 5 bottles, just in case0 -
I'm glad i'm not the only one. I stock up every time I go in to Wilkos! That's Numberwang!0

i use stardrops after reading about it on here
thanks everyone
what i wondered was if it is enough to clean work surfaces and chopping boards with a diluted solution
as opposed to dettol
is there germ killing stuff in it?
thanks0 -

The body has some degree of immunity
there is a school of thought that using cleaners that kill everything dead can lower the immunity so that the times that it is exposed to germs the body is less likely to be able to defend itself (if that makes any sort of sense)Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -

My thoughts exactly!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
if anyone is worried about the antibacterial properties of stardrops, then why not to a final wipe over of your work tops with a solution of white vinegar and water. Isn't vinegar supposed to be antibacterial? it has a million other uses.0

Also, give the stuff (whatever it is, stardrops or antibacterial spray) time to work. Don't spray and immediately wipe off. The pesky little things build up resistance if they get continued exposure which doesn't kill them. Time is a great healer - or destroyer!0

I have asked the question in our local Tesco, "as to why they do not stock the enviromentally friendly all round cleaner, Stardrops". Reported recently being used by Greenpeace. I am still awaiting their reply. Will let you know off any feedback.:hello:What goes around - comes around
