Stardrops..I have seen the light!

Used to frequently walk past bottles of Stardrops in sainsburys whilst thinking what the hell is that stuff? but not intriged enough to actually buy a bottle, well I must announce that, after reading so much about here, I bought a bottle and blooming good it is too!! I am now converted! :)

Do you use it neat on cloth, or dilute it? what sorts of things can you clean with it?
  • It can be used neat or a small amount diluted in water, I have used it tonigth on kitchen floor. also used it neat on bath brought it up a treat. had some pen marks on paintwork and used a bit neat on cloth, took pen marks straight off. I paid about 75p for a 600ml bottle in sainsburys. believe that you can use it on upholstery as well

  • I bought my first bottle today (never noticed it before) and although addicted to
shopping had never noticed micofibre cloths. Got pack of 3 from Savers for 89p. I like so many others on here are over the moon with these two items. Am going to get
more cloths tomorrow. Our shower door has never been cleaner!

My late father used to work at a steel works and his work clothes were always filthy dirty - he used a Stardrops solution to soak his shirts and trousers in as nothing else would get the muck out. The smell of Stardrops always reminds me of this.

It's pretty good stuff but I would advise you to wear rubber gloves, however as IIRC it is not kind to skin.

Another newbie to Stardrops! Bought the 600ml for 75p in Sainsburys also! Couldn't find any microfibre cloths though. What do they look like? I'm going into town today, so will look in Wilko's and see if I can get some there.

Am looking forward to cleaning the house for a change!
