I have seen the light! After reading this thread (all of it) in the wee hours of this morning, I found some of this magical stuff in Savers and have blitzed the house today. Its wonderful stuff, does leave my hands dry though.
I have now binned my Cilit Bang and 3 other multi-surface cleaners and made so much room in cupboards i am chuffed to bits. Thanks for a super find.0 -

we've got laminate downstairs and in our room, tile in the kitchen and downstairs loo, then carpet .. so want something to deal with all the hard floor .. spending a small fortune on a Flash powered mop at the mo!

Is there anything you CAN'T use this marvellous stuff on?"Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

That's not very money saving??? :rotfl:
Mind you, I nearly did the same, but as I'm trying to save money I am finishing off the old bottles first. He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

Okay, just read all 36! pages of this and have plenty of ideas for Stardrops.
Now my big question- can I use it to clean my daughter's quilt? She wet the bed (for the first time, though I'm sure not the last) and I've just discovered it won't fit in the washing machine. How would be best to do so if I can?Purple Penguin Power!

I have two bottles under my sink, a bottle of stardrops and a squirty bottle containing diluted stardrops (and soapnuts for the laundry) and i haven't found a job they can't do yet
Whats soapnuts? We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -
I shop in Sainsburys, and have never seen stardrops. Are they called that, or something else?

Definitely called Stardrops. I found it on the bottom shelf at my local Asda though (and missed it a fortnight ago when I first went hunting).Purple Penguin Power!
