  • I went and bought my first bottle today and I love it! Done the kitchen so far and it's looking lovely. Cleaned grease off the electric hob top (which I usually use lots of expensive Fairy Active Foam on), cleaned windows, baby's highchair, sticky marks off the laminate floor - all with one thing, amazing! I made a spray bottle with diluted Stardrops in.

I got it for 75p in Sainsburys, but compared to my usual 2 bottles of Fairy and 2 bottles of Flash spray a month thats a bargin!

Can I use it for washing up??

I've no idea about washing up, but wanted to say that its highly amusing when you go to wilkinsons are were ever and see they have sold out of Stardrops or Microfibre cloths. Its happened to me a couple of times and I've looked around to see if I can spot and one weighed down with OS stuff :D

Some poor devil with think I'm bonkers if I asked them :rotfl:

I've used it for washing up - but be careful how much you use as it's foams up rather well :rotfl:

I keep a bottle of dilute made up and OH keeps borrowing it (and a microfibre cloth) to clean bird muck off his car - he said it made a better job of his alloy wheels than the proper cleaner :D

    Hi there, Freyasmum!

Nope, just havent had the time yet to go and get the stuff. Have asked my mom to try and get some next time she's out and about.

Will let you know, although read an earlier post where someone said it didn't get pen out, I think, so don't really hold out much hope :o(

I had a look last night and it dose indeed say it can be used for washing up on the bottle. So I bought some from Wilkinsons especially for washing up 600ml for 56p is very competitve compared to washing up liquid.

I didn't have a prople with lots of bubbles, maybe I'm tight and didn't use a big squirt.

I have used it for washing up and I find it to be very good, especially on really greasy stuff. Very little effort required.

And you def only need a little squirt.

What dilution do you use? I have a spray bottle ready and waiting but want to be sure of getting the right amount of Stardrops to water to have the right strength.
