  • I have finally got some from Savers in Brighton - £0.69 for a bottle.

As I'd previously requested, if anyone could please write up an 'ultimate' list of uses I would be most grateful...

So far the uses seem to be:

    - Cleaning floors (capful into a bucket of hot water?)
    - Spraying counters (half a capful into a spray bottle?)
    - Cleaning windows (method ?)
    - Cleaning bathroom (method ?)
    - Washing up (half a capful into washing up?)

  • I have seen stardrops in sainsburys recently - they didn't seem to have it before - maybe its worth asking at your branch whether they are getting any in?

I've spent a long time avoiding this thread thinking
"pah! it's just a cleaner, how good can it be?, I worry about how sad all these people are to get so enthuiastic over a cleaner"

I'm just here to apologise for my unkind thoughts after seeing some in Sainsburys and buying it to see what all the fuss is about.

I've thrown out all my other cleaning products.

  • I stumbled upon starpine last week, I've not seen it before (bought from home bargans). It's also fab, especially on floors. I've decided that the smell reminds me of TCP! Anyone else used it??

No, I bought the pink one, Startips, which I thought smelt OK at first, but found the smell rather sickly after a while - have relegated it to disinfecting the outside bin and gone back to Zoflora. Never liked the smell of TCP much either, so I think I'll pass on this too!:D
