Yes and top ruined anyway. It's so annoying.
  • I cleaned my carpets today using SD in my vax. They have all come up lovely, and smell good too.

I don't think I've used it on my 9 yo cream leather suite, but can't remember TBH. That's next on my list of "major" jobs. I certainly won't be afraid of using it, that's for sure.

I had a friend over the other day, and ended up giving her one of my stock of stardrops bottles. She was cleaning my ceramic hob and couldn't believe how well it cleaned.

so we need to get out too :rotfl:

Hehe... I told my mum about it and she loves it... she has now given my aunt and my cousin a bottle (that I knowof, knowing here she'll have given away her entire stock ('here, try this, it's great...') ... I think this is madness - there were only two bottles left in Tesco!

I used it neat on my shower doors with a little kitchen scrubber (you know, five for like 14p - that was all we had!). Will definately need to get some microfibre cloths!

For those still having problems finding stardrops, supermarkets used to have a customer request book, it might be worth a try. My local Tesco got lemon perrier water in for me when I was craving it whilst pregnant.

have been looking for this for ages...finally found a few bottles lurking on a shelf behind a column in asda. obviously news of this cleaner has not reached this neck of the woods. have to say I am impressed both with the price 56p for such a large bottle

And it's concentrated, so should make litres of actual cleaner.

Excellent - will try that at the weekend. For anyone wanting those kitchen scrubbers (the multicoloured ones with the green scrubby, not the pastel-coloured ones with the pathetic clear nylon scrubby), I thought I did well to get 20 for a pound in Savers, but I then discovered them at 30 for a pound in Poundland. They also did packs of 8 of the big yellow & green ones too.

Yep, they came up a treat. I'm going to try starclen (not been a great day so far!) and see how it compares. I'll let you know.

I just got a bottle it [starclen] today from Morrisons... 72p and 75pfor stardrops - do you think they have gotten wind of the 'revolution' and are putting prices up in anticipation of millions of sales?! Or at least a few!

Hi lwt, if you have tried it yet, how did you get on?

I went to home bargains and they had stardrops (in a round bottle) and concentrated stardrops (in a flattish squarey type bottle)
what's the difference (apart from 7p)
i bought some anyway and some starclen and am actually quite excited about cleaning now!
