  • I bought my first bottle of Stardrops the other day and am also chuffed to bits with it!

It really made the bath and bath taps shine a treat.

Oh poo I bought a pack of the Tesco ones yesterday :o. Used one this evening.
Whats the difference between the cheap (89p) and the expensive (£3.99) cloths?
Also can you get micro fibre mops??? I imagine they would be very good for cleaning laminate floors.

All is not lost - I demoted my Tesco ones to cleaning the loos, that's all.

S*d all, as far as I can tell. I have got one expensive one, which is specifically for cleaning glass, and I do keep that for my specs (this was long before I realised that microfibre could be used for other things), but the Poundland ones are just as good at that - I just don't like the idea of the expensive cloth being demoted to cleaning the cooker!

Yep, usually find them in the pound shops too.

Yep, the microfibre clothes will be fine. Just don't wash them with fabric softener, if you use that, that is. The fibres don't like it.

And it'll stop them soaking up water - same reason you shouldn't wash towels with conditioner.

If you can use stardrops on upholstery can you use it on matresses?
I came home last night to find my cat had decided her litter tray was not big enough and she decided my bed was the next best option
Obviously its now soaked in and no amount of vanish power foam is getting the smell out, wondered if star drops would work?!

    Oh my days!

    I am a convert!

I had two friends round for coffee and we're sat in the kitchen and I'm pottering as is my wont and I thought, oh, I'll just try some Stardrops on my oven door - now this hasn't been cleaned for 18 months when I got the oven fitted! I know, the shame.......*coffs*

So anyway I squirt it on, smoosh it about a bit, leave it for 5 mins and then start gently scrubbing with a non scratch scourer.................we ended up all stood over the oven door with our mouths open watching the grime come straight off!!!!!! Sad but true, maybe we need to get out a bit more LOL

Anyway they both went running off to buy a bottle and now I am scouring the house for other things to clean - which believe you me isn't my normal way of spending a Saturday night :D

Not strictly Stardrops, but I know somebody asked about where to find Milton a couple of days ago (and sorry, but I can't face trawling through 30 pages on here!) - saw it in Superdrug on Saturday. Even better (because it does go off) they have the tablets.

Also found Startips in Superbuys for 69p. Floral disinfectant (Stardrops' answer to Zoflora, by the look of it), sugar pink liquid in a clear bottle.
  • Converted this weekend also! :)
