I haven't used stardrops in the dishwasher, I'm actually a bit concerned about using it to clean with since it seems to catch my breath even when diluted with water. I dilute it and put it in a spray bottle, but I have to hold my breath! I was under the impression this was safer stuff? maybe not.
Aye. I started a spray bottle with diluted star drops a couple of weeks ago, and yes, as a spray I found that it was a bit of a lung buster - not nice to breathe in at all (although used in the normal way it seems fine).
So I'm just using it up as a diluted "pour out" solution now and won't be spraying again.
I've also found that it leaves a sticky residue on surfaces unless they are rinsed well after cleaning. Or am I using too strong a mix?
It's good stuff - but I think it needs using sparingly and with care. I use probably about a tablespoon of stardrops diluted in a standard spray bottle. Using this concentration I don't have any beathing problems (asthmatic so have to be careful) and there doesn't seem to be any sticky residue. Hope this helps.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. After ploughing through this thread I went up to our local Semichem and bought some Stardrops, as I am a bit of a cleaning product addict (sad, isn't it.)
WOW. My cooker hob is sparkling, even my Mum said she'd never seen it as shiny not even when she used to have the cookerNeat Stardrops and bicarb, wonder cleaner and not a single scratch. It made cleaning my huuuuuge living room window a doddle too.
Mum has asked me to buy her some today when I go out for my breakanother convert on the way!

I've just bought my first bottle this morning in Morrisons - 75p - right on the shelf next to starclens. I thought my bath was clean until I used neat stardrops around the 'scum' line!! Brilliant. Never heard of it until I started reading this site.0

Is there anything you CAN'T use it on?
Most products say "unsuitable for x surface", can this really be used on everything? That means I would save ££ on all the individual products I buy!0 -

I rub it in the grass stains as soon as he comes home. Then just bung them in the wash, no trace of grass!0
