I got my first bottle from ASDA for just 58p to try and get some computer laser printer toner out of a shirt. A cold water soak with a squirt of Stardrops, then a normal wash, and its all gone!

It's brilliant stuff - I never buy all the different cleaners any more (eg windows, bathroom, kitchen, windows etc) because Stardrops cleans everything. Use it for washing up as well.

Is there anything you CAN'T use it on?

Most products say "unsuitable for x surface", can this really be used on everything? That means I would save ££ on all the individual products I buy!

I know I sound like an advert for this stuff but I am so pleased with it! DH let my young daughter drink mango juice without a bib and of course it went all over her t-shirt. I put it in Stardrops to soak overnight but wasn't confident as it didn't appear to be coming out and still looked orange tinged. I put it in the washing machine expecting to take it out and have to throw it...... but it was CLEAN!!
  • well its official, im another stardrops convert, this thread is like a fan club for the stuff! Cleans like no other cleaner - brilliant!!

I used to use Stardrops when I was first married 34 years ago, but somehow didn't replace it when it ran out. Now back using it, just a couple of points from earlier threads:
1 - Maybe Martin should approach Stardrops makers for a contribution to the MSE charity - this site must have sold 1000's of bottles.
2 - I am sure I saw on other thread that Bi-Carb made into a paste cleans the glass oven doors.
    Take care

Had given up on this one as no-one locally stocks it - but found a bottle last week while staying with my sister in South Wales! Now just wondering where to start.....will it be as good as most of you say? It's got a lot to live up to!

    hi
goodness knows what is in the stuff but it is the best stain remover ever. sliced my thumb open badly on a cat food tin and the only thing i had to hand was a brand new white bath towel! it should really have had stitches but i held it together until i could move with out leaving a trail and bandaged it heavily, by this time the towel was a mess. i squirted the dilute stardops that i use as washing up liquid , left it 10 mins and washed at normal wash, came up completeley spotless. one bottle solves all:D
