I've used it on doors and skirting boards (painted) and it lifted marks that I'd long given up on. I used it dilute but can't imagine it would do any harm to use neat.0

there's a useful stardrops thread here -

stardrops will do anything that the more expensive cleaners will do but do it so much cheaper.
only warning on stardrops I've seen is that if you plan to use it in your washing machine (or dw) then use just a very little!! seen a post somewhere where someone had a kitchen full of foam!... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Wow thanks guys. I just did my windows in spare room with it and newspaper and they are gleaming!! Also did the woodwork down with it. All diluted in spray bottle0

I am quite sure it is perfectly safe to use when pregnant but I remember reading a Health and Safety person on here saying she would advise wearing gloves while using it and a few people have had dry, sore hands after not taking her advice so especially in your "condition" I would advise you do wear them. I am a devil for not bothering either but if I use it a lot they do get dry. 'Tis marvellous stuff though and a bottle lasts me ages. Things seem very shiney.
Congratulations on the baby by the way0 -
ooh thanks for that. One of the reasons I actually bought stardrops was the amount of chemicals I had for cleaning up and I didn't want to be breathing it all in anymore (some of the power sprays for bathrooms are nauseating). I do have sensitive skin so if I use it neat I will definatley use gloves. I diluted it about 1 part in 15 though for my spare room so should be OK so far I hope.
Working up to going back up to do the skirting boards. I wish I had more energy!0 -
Got my stardrops, had my micro fiber clothes for ages (leather couch+micro fiber cloth=WOW)
No I am excited enough to go clean!
Oh it can be used for the car too can't it? Great! Got an old rover to clean up or sale.0 -
I have just put my dishwasher on with a good squirt of stardrops in the dispenser and vinegar in the rinse aid compartment and everything ( except 1 spot of porridge in the sacepan) has come out sparkling clean. Must be a sure way of saving money0

Thanks Scubaleopard,
if only I could get stardrops to try it out, doesn't seem to be available around here! Anyone got any other suggestions as I find tablets and powder have become very expensive lately?
TIA

There's another thread which raises concerns about using stardrops without rubber gloves, I'd definitely be wary of washing cutlery and crockery in it!
Have you checked the label for its ingredients to see if its safe?0
