Well I'll have to get this magical liquid.

If you get bubbles from synthetic detergents which you want to disperse, use a bar of soap to clear them away.

I don't know if I did quote bit right but what I wanted to say LittleVoice you can also use ordinary Antiperspirant spray to get rid off bubbles.

I've had a bit of a Stardrop frenzy in my kitchen today. My microwave usually requires putting a bowl of water int here and 'cooking' it for 5 minutes (have a husband who thinks things are cooked when they explode) and I didn't need to at all, all the stuff came off. My fridge looks like new it's so shiny :D

The only thing that I couldn't get clean was my oven door. Tbh, I haven't cleaned it properly in about 2 years :o because I hate the job and every cleaner I have tried hasn't worked and I get bored after half an hour. I used the Starclen on it and it isn't altogether clean as there are specks left behind I just can't get rid of but it is about 150% better.:T

We have some cream fabric covered sofas that have got some black marks on after moving house over the weekend, not sure what it is but possibly some kind of oil or grease.

Should I try Stardrops on it, and if so, what do you reckon, really diluted on a damp cloth? Or should I just try some washing up liquid on there? I want something that's going to lift the marks out but without altering the colour of the material in any way :)

Thanks, mrs-d. So not only soap but antiperspirant spray clears the bubbles. I'm more likely to have soap to hand but the other option is interesting.

I've got the most annoying stainless steel electric hob that I can never get clean no matter what I try on it. It still always has baked on grease around the rings. Would it be safe to use this stuff on it and would it work? Everyone seems so impressed by it I might go out and look for a bottle.

are they removable covers, if so i'd soak in a diluted solution

but try it on a bit of concealed fabric first and leave it til its dry

the stardrops should lift the grease but not sure if it would work on oil

Never heard of these before but I will keep an eye out for them and once my myriad different cleaning products have run out I shall give them a go.

Are they safe to use on granite worktops, does anyone know please?

    Thank you.

I dont know for certain but when I lived in a house with a septic tank I didnt even think about what I used to clean with and Im ashamed to admit I used to use bleach down the loo the expensive cleaners round the sinks etc so all that sort of stuff ended up in our septic tank but I didnt notice any bad smells etc so I dont think it made any difference:confused:
