Well done dragon 4lb's is fab!!! - i do the same, and can't wait until I FINALLY register on my scales at home too ( only another 3 stone to go)
Had a good afternoon swimming with DD, managed to do roughly about 10 -15 lengths of the pool plus general messing around!! It was sooo busy I couldn't swim without bumping into to someone, so nipped into the swimming lane while it was empty:money::money::money::money:
I love to save money0 -

For example, I would have got a large mcdonalds meal with a milkshake and a side order EG cheese dippers! then I woulda thought sod this I've had a bad lunch I'll get a takeaway for tea too! Sorry for the rant, Im actually happy with myself (weird or what lol) because its not as bad as I thought! Why oh why are we sooo hard on ourselves sometimes!

Thanks Dragon:D!
I havn't had any crisps from 31/05/09 I know thats only what, 6 days ago? but before I could easily get through 4-6 bags a day. I just feel liberated that Im not on a specific diet, just eating healthily, making good food choices and allowing for treats.0 -
Dragon - well done on the 4lbs, keep it up!
Nadine - don't worry, you can't be good all the time, and you've got it all in perspecive so that's good. I know what you mean about having a bad couple of hours and that blowing your whole day or even your week! It's all in the mind though...I've had a lot of exercise this week and I'm taking part in an event tomorrow night called the Moonlight Prowl, so that will be a 13 mile walk. Fingers crossed the rain stays off!
Sorry to quote myself  but I'm really chuffed this morning. I did the walk last night and although it wasn't a race my friends and I came 25th, 26th and 27th out of about 1500 people! It took 3hrs 3mins, and it didn't rain :j! And so far I don't feel sore yet - but it is only 10am! So hubby is going to treat me to a nice cooked breakfast. Will try to be good for the rest of the day though!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone!0 -
Morning all I haven't posted on here all week. I've been doing lots of overtime at work, so have had no time for anything else. I've done next to no exercise apart from walking and shopping if that counts!
:rotfl:
But I'm over the moon as I'm 1 lb lighter! :j:j I've no idea how that happened, as we had chinese on friday night and I felt so bloated afterwards but it was soooo yummy. I've felt totally unmotivated this week with not being able to do much exercise but knowing that I've lost weight it's given me a boost for next week. Today its over to the in-laws for lunch and a nice long walk with the dog.
Have a great day all xxxxxxxxAll the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...

I think I may have come across a problem, I was wondering if someone could help me?
I weigh myself in my bedroom directly in front of my wardrobe on a carpeted floor, this is where I weighed myself on monday and where I have been doing my sneaky peaks. Last night my boyfriend weighed himself in my usual spot then said he thought he weighed less than usual and took the scales into the hall (also carpeted although a thicker carpet).
He weighed about 5lbs more! then he took the scales into the bathroom & kitchen (both with large floor tiles) and he weighed the same as the hall. So there I was on a saturday night going from room to room on the scales lol. The scales are fairly new, they are Weight Watchers digital scales and on the box it did say can be used on a solid or carpeted floor. I just dont know what to do? Im thinking I may start weighing in the bathroom and accept I may not lose anything this week but at least its my true weight? Im so confused!

I think you need to weigh in the bathroom on a solid floor - I know they say that the scales can be used on carpet but I never really trust that (I used to put ours on a heavy book when we had them on the carpet!) - as you say you may be staying the same this week from the point of view of a change of position of the scales BUT you having been losing weight, just the start point was different!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I have WW scales too and they should be used on a hard floor. I'm afraid they do weigh lighter on a carpet. But as Dragon says, you will still have lost weight even if the scales don't say so!0
