My bad news is that our freezer has stopped working but we are still using it and pretending that everything is frozen. Im determined not to buy another one.

    Hi tes,

Have you tried posting a 'Wanted' ad on Freecycle? There's just been a stainless steel freezer offered on mine, under a year old! I wish you were nearer! Maybe an idea though?

  • Hi DJ,

Welcome to MSE! Sorry to heaar about your money situation.

Have a wee look around the DFW board and especially at the sticky at the top of the board posted by Southern Scouser, called 'First time posters' - then we can see if we can help you by helping find ways of making extra money or cutting back.

    Ali,

If you have a good repayment record with the CC you could always give them a ring and see if they are sympathetic - they are sometimes if its a one-off oversight. Just take a few deep breaths before you make the call tho and think c---a---l---m thoughts! ;)
