Thanks melabarrie, i am nearing the end of one of my claims, but many more to go as I am in Scotland and can only claim £750 through small claims. But I can pit up with getting a nice cheque every couple of months till I get every single penny back :D

Receiving a £750 cheque every month is a problem I would very much like to have :D

Sorry to hear about the £195 worth of charges for you both. Damn, it's all wrong. Open another account that doesn't let you go overdrawn and start moving things over to get away from the spiral.

thanks for all the nice thoughts you guys. She was very old(21) and had lots of stuff wrong with her that it was much better to have her put to sleep than to make her suffer. I better not get any more ban news for a while, i have been posting too regularly on here. Hope everyone is having a good MSE day, x

Bellie, so sorry to hear about your cat.

The news about the standing orders may be good news - if the bank ignored your instruction to cancel them, they should pay you compensation. They are unlikely to do this unless you ask. ;) Earlier this month my mortgage company followed my instruction to uplift £400 from my account by uplifting £1075! They did have the grace to ask if I'd incurred any charges as a result of their error (I hadn't), but didn't offer me any compensation for the error until I asked for it. :D

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
