If you have a good repayment record with the CC you could always give them a ring and see if they are sympathetic - they are sometimes if its a one-off oversight. Just take a few deep breaths before you make the call tho and think c---a---l---m thoughts!
I did this after I'd posted. Normaly I wouldn't, as I see it as my responsibility to pay on time, however they had agreed to changed date and then hadn't acted on it (but still my fault for not noticing). Anyway, they have agreed to waive charge, so should transfer this to good news thread!!!:money:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

My bad news is just my general money situation!
I have about £150 going out for bills/debts, add to that putting away about £270 for rent and thats just my normal monthly outgoings!!
I haven't done well with money over the past few months and am now scrambling to find £800 for next quarters rent on 1st July. Have got £320 so far but even with my wages at the end of june i'm gonna be £100 short
I've already taken on a second job with stupid hours (6am-9am) which are gonna mean a few months of sleeping during the day because I already work evenings, but its still not enough!! I'm gonna have to offer odd jobs to my neighbours but they won't take it well because I live with students (they think I am one) and students don't have a good reputation round here!
If only I wasn't so stupid with my money i'd be much better off!

Quincifer, are you paying council tax for the full amount of the house as everyone else is students? If you are- move!!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Mela,
As leaseholders, dont you have to share out the costs between each of the flats in the building for this sort of thing? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

yes we do, but only three flats have access to this front door and one is empty. I'm just cross that i have to put out anything as i didn't break it!! (i know i'm probably being unreasonable, well i can't help it:p )MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)

My landlord want to put up the rent by £30 per month. I'm using my negotiating powers to see if he will keep to the same for another year. If not I think a move is on the cards again.0

My bad news is that I had to have a front tooth removed because it fractured. It gets worse though. Apparently, in April, the NHS changed their funding for dentures. As mine will be a front denture it is classed as cosmetic dentristy and so will cost me, wait for it, £900!!!!!!!
I have debts of around £25,000 and so I shall have learn to live with my toothless grin for quite some time. Unless anyone knows how I can blag myself a free denture.

more bad news for me, yesterday my phone bill was due to come out of my bank account so i made sure there was enough money by going into the bank and putting money in( and i had to wait in line for 35 mins). I logged on to my online banking today and i had £190  worth of charges for standing orders that i had cancelled at the start of the month!!! And my boyfriend called me at work to say that he had £195  worth of charges on his account today too. Just cant seem to get out the charges loop. I am so glad I am claiming them all back. Annoying now as i also have a £200 odd electric bill to pay. I HATE Banks!!!! So no food for us this month!! :mad:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 086Proud to be dealing with my debts !Total Debt: Was £6368.84  now £945.36Sealed Pot Challenge 049 Aim £5000
