  • Got my cards for my new co-op accounts and sure enough visa debits with a 4508 prefix!

    Co-Op is is out of order if they are issuing Visa Debit card they should not be sending out Electron cards. I think that everyone should go to Barclays or LLoyds TSB if they can because their cards are proper Visa Debit.
  • i'm not that fussed tbh - have been using halifax electrons for last 6 months and i'm just glad i can get any sort of card and don't have to use cash all the time!

    I am just about to go bankrupt and wondered how you coped with your employer salary credit - did you manage to open a new bank account in time to avoid your salary going into the frozen old account- I am paid weekly and i cant see me been able to go bank rupt monday open a new bank account tuesday and inform my employer of the new bank details in time to get paid into the new account. will the OR allow me to withdraw the funds and how will I access them if the account is closed ? any help would be appreciated as this seems to be the biggest head ache with going bank rupt

    no can do, I owed money to lloyds and my oh did for barclays.

    i love the co-op anyway. :)

    Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(

    I opened my Coop account 5 months before I went BR and it wasn't closed or frozen.
