A fair chunk of mobile networks wont allow PAYG top ups with a prepay card either....to top up my phone I have to ask my wife & use her card & give her the cash...

I think that is all to do with traceability and using the phones to commit crime as you can get a prepaid phone without giving them your correct details and a prepaid card the same way, so doing this (not allowing prepaid cards) cuts down on the annonimity.

These pre paid cards we are allowed them arent we? Also do i need to wait till im a discharge BR till i can start building my credit history with it?

Anyone can have a prepaid card, even an undischarged bankrupt, and it is not issued by RBS, but by AFL

Gone slightly O/T regarding the Co-Op Visa Debit card but...

reference the pre-paid credit card, I have one with Paypal, and it was issued from RBS and they were one of my creditors, and I have had NO problems with this card.

Similar story with me (RBS were one of my creditors and I got the card OK) but the card cannot be used at my local train station and is treated as an Electron card.
