Hi, I haven't actually made a tiered nappy cake yet, but dying to make one. I would really like to make them to sell, I love lots of crafts and need to start a small business to make some extra money. I think you are thinking of English tiered wedding cakes with pillars and spaces between the cakes. These nappy cakes are based on American wedding cakes, where the cakes just sit on top of each other with no spaces in between.
If you look at some of the larger pictures, you will see what I mean.
Hope that helps0 -

Hi Giggle, Me too - I have been attempting some Christmas ones with stuff I bought last January but, still need some bits and pieces that I can't find yet!
I know it's early but I use 0-3 mth clothes so you have to factor that in or the clothes go past Christmas.
Been very quiet on here this week, especially after last weeks buzz!
Are you getting many orders through the shop?0 -

hI Irlrip, I'm afraid I was in front of myself and bought a load of stuff in the January sales - sleepsuits, bibs, socks etc. I bought some gorgeous soft toys too from Mothercare but I think they are really too big. Still need some bootees or something which I can't find yet.
I think you will be alright if she doesn't want the cake untill December - or does she want it now? Last yr I'm sure they had all the xmas stuff out along with Bonfire night stuff!0 -

I am trying not to buy any more stock (got loads) but I know when the sales come around again, I won't be able to resist. Especially, with Christmas stuff when you have to buy so far in advance!
Will keep an eye out for you in the shops!0 -
hi, i wondered if anyone could advice me on prices please. i did a basket a little while ago i would like to get out of the way (no one has seen it so obvously its not been sold!). the contence cost about £5 and i had the basket already.. the shop im going to ask if they will display it, take 20% of the sale, and most of the customers are old ladies so most won't have a big budget.
What kind of price do you think i should be asking for?
thanksBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card
