You know how Huggies have the little Disney strip at the front tops? well the Pampers have something similar but the actual nappy part is plain white, so ideal for those who don't cover their nappies tiers.
I haven't got any bargain shops at all near me, but I went to visit my folks in the Midlands last week and went blanket bananas!!"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -
Just finished my cake for a friend of ours. They are big football fans so Ive been stocking up for a while (baby has been in scbu for 4 months). And here it is:

Hi kr15snw, Wow! That's really different, lovely bear too! Yeah!, I think a bit of green would look nice to tie in with the badge.
Hope you don't mind me saying though, I would have made the middle and top tiers bigger.0 -
That's lovely Kr15snw, I have done a similar one for Oh's team - and I'm going to contact the club shop to see if they want to display it, (granted they're only a 3rd division team) but it may drum up some business.
I think a green ribbon would look loved too, it would tie in with the green writing.0 -

Weight loss so far 2 stones 6lbs!! :j:j0 -
What a gorgeous cake kr15snw well done you! I am sure it will be very much appreciated especially after the baby being in special care for such a long time. My youngest was prem and in NICU but luckily only for 2 weeks and that was hard enough so can't imagine what your friends must have gone through!

I would love to do a cake but as we live on several boarders there is some friendly local rivals and i wouldn't be able to favour one over the others. I bet doing a football one is quite dear isn't it. My typical 3 tier only sells for £25 people in my area aren't willing to pay any more yet don't want supermarket or primark items so it is quite hard making good cakes for so little.
Where do you get all the football items from? the football shops?:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
Hehe, who do you support?
I know they want to sell them in work, but they want me to do it during my work hours (I work here full time) so I dont actually get any money from it!
I'm going to ask if I can do it as a supplier and sell them to them and then they sell them on.Green and White Barmy Army!0
