Aww Thank you everyone, it was so easy to do, I registered with Mr Site and did not get on with it at all (if anyone wants my basic Mr Site package, they can have it - as I couldn`t get a refund) -got a full 12 months left to go!! Just PM me.

I used Homestead.com Its an American site, and so so easy to do! It costs me $4.99 a month (yes dollars), so depending on the exchange rate, works out quite cheap!

Bought the domain from 123reg.co.uk which was about £6.99 for 2 years!

However you can get a domain with homestead but I make the mistake of buying my domain before getting a webpage.

I didn`t put prices on, do you think I should?! As I only put the cakes on as examples of previous orders, not to purchase.

I only make about £5 a cake profit, is that about what everyone else makes??

The website is only for reference really, as people are still ` what are nappy cakes`..

I got a real bargain yesterday would you believe from a charity shop but brand new from boots prob an unwanted gift a boots spa set with shower gel, body scrub, lotion and a body sponge with a cotton bath robe got the lot for £5!!! Will make a great new mum pamper cake as a one off, haven't made it up yet but what do you think, good idea to include the robe?
Also I have been playing around with face cloths looking for a nicer way to display them and came across a good idea of turning them into little bunnies - they look so cute especially made with the cheap washcloths from B&M as they are thinner! I had a go with the large adult face cloths and in its back have managed to put a heart soap and 2 chill pills - great cheap gift, will post pics when I get the chance, I was thinking of charging around £3ish for them as a novelty gift for xmas pressies.
Wondered how the rest of you have been getting on over the weekend are there any bargains to be had out there that I don't know about lol!
I got a bargain too from the charity shop yesterday, a pack of 5 pairs, pink and white baby socks (labels still attached, Tesco's) for 29p !!! :D

I would personally put prices on as if people aren't really aware of what Nappy Cakes are then they definately won't be aware of what they cost, plus I know that if I have to call someone for a price I won't, I'd rather just do everything over the net.

Not been in there for a while but Pumpkin Patch sometimes do a peachy colour - or you could team it up with a turquoise blue?

Thanks. I love Pumpkin Patch but don't have any stores up here so I have to order online. I will go and have a quick look at their website. Thanks.

I need to go shopping with people from this thread - my only achievement shopping yesterday was selling a jumperoo to couple in Mothercare - and I don't even work there:rotfl::rotfl: I really should stop listening to other people's conversations and including myself

You should keep a look out in charity shops for some teddys too. I had 3 lovely ones (mothercare) last month for the grand total of £1 :D
Many still have the tags attached too, I just carefully remove and wash them, and replace the tag.

£5 profit:eek: is that really enough? Does it cover your time, petrol etc. I've just had a look at your website and your cakes are beautiful! I think you are way underpricing yourself.

Irlrip, Matalan had a 3 piece set in Peach and white. I think it was £6 but they might have changed the stock for Autumn.

What about putting cream with the blankets and maybe creamy / coffee coloured ribbons. Or some spotty ones in matching colours
