Hi there is no set rules as to how many nappies you can use on each tier i just use enough till i think it looks right and also if you put gifts in the middle of each tier then you would use less nappies just have a play around till it looks right to you :)

  • Quick question - where do you all get your boxes from for posting nappy cakes, can't find any that are large enough online? The last one that i posted luckily I had a very large box at home from a recent delivery of a laptop etc.
    Thanks in advance

  • I have had my domain name since last year i think and i still haven't done anything about it. I have half of a web-site done and saved but i just don't have the time to do really. I have asked hubby but he is a mature student and still works full time too and doesn't have the time either. My friends hubby runs a website building company i have asked for help but they won't do me any favours at all and expect me to pay the top monthly/yearly rate to do it. i can't blame them they are in business after all but a little help in the right direction would be nice.
I have a few cakes to do for my next craft fair. think i have an order but ther person wants to see them in real life not just from a picture first before they make up their mind.

All my cupcakes boxes came today i will post pics tomorrow of my goodies.

    Hi
I still don't have a domain yet but I used microsoft office live small business to design mine, it isn't the fanciest but it is so simple to use, anyone can do it and it didn't take that long, you can use templates or more advanced options. Might be worth a look! HTH
Oh and Vistaprint also host and I get all of my business cards etc from there they are so cheap most of the things are free but postage can be expensive. I got a large vinyl banner for my stall and it cost me £4!!!! 500 cards for free, flyers, notpads, t-shirts, pens etc. I think that they are great! I always get far too carried away lol!

I use vistaprint too and got all my buisness cards and postcards a pen and note paper all with my business details on for free but yes the postage is steep and the more you have it goes up. Also some people have reported being back charged for items and had a bill on their credit card months later which worried me.

    Hi all,

Just thought I would post about Pampers new "Simply Dry" range. I bought some Size 3's today from Morrison's £5 for pk 60 and they are plain white! Fab for using in the cakes.

Tesco's have boxes of Huggies Size 3 102 for £9. They also have plain white muslins pk of 6 for around £3.12(ish) and other full sized Johnson's products for £2.

Matalan (well the one I went in) had WTP and Piglet bibs, hats & booties sets for £1 and £2 reduced from full price. I bought all the ones I could see.

And BM Bargains have lots of gorgeous bubble blankets (silk edged) back in. The pink ones has heart bubbles, the boys have star bubbles and the white are just round bubbles.

    Hope these offers help someone?

  • Hi all, newbie questions
In a batch of 4 girl cupcakes i would put 2 pairs of white and 2 pairs of pink socks. Each cupcake would contain a pink sock wrapped in a white sock.
Therefore with single cupcakes.... u would recieve two odd socks??
For decoration only? Or suggestions recievd? thanks

In my batches of 4 cupcakes i sometimes mix the colours sometimes i do 2 white cakes 2 pink!
So if iwas doing a single i would use 1 pair of pink socks & a white flower.

    HTH
