Stokegal, extra places to add to your list
Blankets - Home Bargains, B & M
Johnsons - Wilkinsons, supermarkets (special deals) sometimes £ shop is dearer or smaller sizes.
Nappy Pins??? I pin them on untill I put ribbon on then remove pins.
Teddies - don't forget Card shops (keep an eye on label though for age!)0 -
Popkins, your cake is beautiful well worth the £50. I have the same blankets from Asda. Did you get them half price? They now have blue and pink ones on their website.
Irlrip – Lucky you, off to Florida! I bet the shopping there is great and really different to here.
Popkins – Sorry to hear you haven’t been well! I think the contents of your £20 cake sound just right.
I bought a couple of the pink/cream ones from Asda today they are £5.
Poor family getting dragged round all the baby shops in Florida, sure they will love that;):rotfl:0 -
Stokegal - don't buy J & J toiletries from Pound stores they are cheaper in the supermarkets. Sainsbury's sometime have good deals and you can get them for half price.0

have asda stopped doing thier "baby bear" blankets then? I can't find them on their website, and i hadnt see the new ones until your post. i'll be in a panic if they have stopped as i love them and only 1 of my designs doesnt use it!Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card
Rehome an unwanted prize or gift with a seriously ill child through Postpals.co.uk0 -
Just a quickie but around where I am 99% of the time the pound shop is alot cheaper than the supermarkets or wilkinsons. Sometimes they do have smaller sizes which is when you have to look out but majority of the time they are the normal size bottles.
Cake Boards I use the 10" round ones from asda 67p. I ordered some others off the internet for cheaer and they were absoloutely useless.0 -
Hi ladies
I need some help, well after selling 3 nappy cakes now, 2 locally 1 through website, word is spreading (yay!) I have recieved an order for 3 male pamper cakes for Christmas(so plenty of time, thank god!) Anyway I have googled it and can't find any inspiration. Heres what I was thinking to start with (budget approx £25 each!) dark coloured bath sheet/towel, bodyshop male toiletries, mini alcohol (need to check if they are drinkers though) ok so thats the basics - any ideas. Please x
Thanks
