Hi all, just thought I'd let you know if you hadn't seen already that Boots have 3 for 2 on baby products at the min (until the 13th Sept). Wouldnt usually buy ingredients from Boots but with offer makes things quite cheap! Also asda have baby event on, got 3 feeding bowls with lids for a £1 and 6 feeding spoons for the same, so have made some ice cream sundaes with them, quite pleased with them. x0

Hi all, I have my first craft fair coming up at the beg of October. I am trying to get everything organised. I nearly have all my sample cakes made plus making cupcakes and sundaes. As this is my first event just wondered if any of you who are seasoned craft fair attendees had any advice??
I am not really expecting to sell many (if any) nappy cakes, the idea is that I will have leaflets to hand out so if people are interested they will go away and order at a later date?? Hoping to make the cost of the table back through sales of indivual cupcakes and sundaes priced at £3.50 and £4.50.
Any advice greatly recieved.

Sorry! can't help. I am afraid I am one of the few who has never done any sort of stall or craft fair.
(Would actually be quite difficult as I don't drive)
All the same, good luck! and hope you get lots of orders.0 -

Hi Sharon
I have done quite a few markets/fairs and I always find it best to pre-plan your table set out before you do it, living room floor works well, otherwise you can just end up with a table presentation that looks unprofessional and untidy, I usually have my own table cover (bought a couple of meters of crushed velvet off Ebay that looks fab) my nappy cakes/pamper cakes go at the back of the table, I like to keep the colours together eg pink section, blue etc then I arrange the smaller products at the front, I bought some acrylic business card holders on ebay, again these look more professional that just sitting in a pile on the table and they don't cost much and of course you can use them again,

I have an online shop that sells nappy cakes. I'm always posting new ideas on ther so if any of you guys want to get some inspiration (or buy one for a gift) please feel free to visit our site
Just had a look at your site and i don't think there is anything on there that everyone on here doesn't already make or know how to make. Plus i don't think anyone on here would want to buy one from you as we all make are own on here and i might add there all lovely cakes on here not that im saying yours are not nice but i just dont see why you would think any of us would want to buy one from you.
And another thing you can't post about you own web sites on here so it might be best you take the bottom bit of your post off here before someone reports you.
I dont want to seem rude but i just dont get where you are coming from trying to sell your cakes to us on hereI Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0 -

You not allowed to give details of your website on here I'm afraid so you may want to remove that asap or you may find yourself banned0 -

Had a look at your site and am afraid to say I didn't see any "new" or "inspiring" ideas. In fact, everything was on the previous (old) thread of the Nappy Cake forum.
I know it is really hard coming up with any new ideas and we are all doing very much the same (with our own style) but I think there is more inspiration to be gained from this forum. Sorry if a little harsh0
