Morning all
Just back from two weeks hols in Greece and trying to catch up with the thread - read through about a weeks worth so far-all very interesting as usual.
Only spent £21.96 this week stocking up on fresh stuff like milk, eggs, fruit, veg & fish as still have loads of meat in the freezer so with one shop to go next week hope to come in just under budget this month.
Carried on the OS while on hols making own yoghurt which I had every morning for breakfast with lovely fresh fruit and also tried homemade lemonade which was lovely and refreshing as it was well over 30 degrees most days. Going to make some here too, bought lots of lemons yesterday, although temp here is rubbish - I've been feeling cold since I got home!
Also going to try home made ginger beer which I made years ago when my kids were small.
Off to read the rest of this thread and others to catch up.
Regards to Mrs M & Orkney & others with worries at the moment.0 -

Afternoon everyone,
I`ve just been to MrM`s and have updated my sig accordingly
I`ve now got £34.80 left until the end of the month, i do have to buy a sack of dogfood out of this next week but i`ve got my fingers crossed. The 2 sacks of food that i should need the week after will come out of next months budget but they are usually cheaper and i can get away with only one sometimes to give the hounds a bit of a change in the mix that they normally eat. I have had to buy a few extras this week as DH is off fishing for a couple of days but i`ve not done too badly so far.
I also bought some whiskas pouches as a treat for our cat, she`s been on tins for a while but the pouches were 24 for a fiver and although i didn`t need them i get them for her for a change. They are stashed upstairs for next week.
((((HUGS)))) for your Mums MrsM & Orkneystar x
