My kind of shopping list lol....the staples and, em, another staple lol ;).
What is Aldi ice cream like ?....we don't have one here but might shop in Aldi when on holiday at mum's in the summer.
I spent £3.80 on 4 small tubs of local ice cream today :eek::eek: cos there was no freezer space to fit one normal tub in. Still it is a treat to have with DS birthday tea....meringues, raspberries, cream and ice cream.......kinda eton mush (sorry mess!).

Hi all i again have spent loads of money on BBQ's and dayouts  nearly crying at the start of the budget.

OH is away this week so i'm determined not to spend anymore money on food, had to go out and aldi twice in the past seven days as the boys and OH keep eating them all.

Only thing i will need to buy is milk and eggs, but i will try and make the ones i have last till next week.

Mrs M, hope yours mums okay

I know the feeling, my freezer is full of yellow sticker stuff and I just keep buying more:rolleyes:

Been to MrT's this morning and managed to spend £18.32p, picked up some pork belly and sasages both yellow stickered which are now in the freezer with the rest of my ever growing supply of meat stuff. I'm going to have the pork belly on Sunday with new potatoes & cauliflower cheese. I now have £34.86p left until the end of the month, I'm sure that with some meal planing I can come in on budget for June.

    Shelley x

Do you know what, I shop in Asda and I have never managed to get anything with a yellow sticker, it isn't for the want of trying, how do you all do it.....

I accidentally found out when my local supermarket does its 2nd round of reductions (often to 75% off) so if I can I pop in then for what I need.

Ours has Raspberry Ripple, Vanilla and Neopolitan. The last wouldn't get touched in this house as it's not a flavour we eat, but the others are fine. Wouldn't object to a bit more 'ripple' in the former, but it goes down fine with some extra sauce and some 100s & 1000s on top ;) Also very nice with the added addition of a chopped up peach from this months Super 6 :T

I normally have a chopped banana with the vanilla, so I see ice-cream as a way of increasing my F&V intake:rotfl:

Hi Everyone. First time I have popped in this month have updated my signature and I have spent so far this month £159.10. Next month the children break up at the beginning of the month so that will make a difference. Good luck everyone not long to go now.
