    Hi everyone,

Just on to declare for June - overbudget unfortunately but not as bad as May. Declaring at £444.88 for June.

MrsM - please can you put me down for £400 for July. It's going to be a real stretch but we have had a lot of expenses these past few weeks and we need to cut back wherever we can. Having a patio built and the bills just keep rolling in....oh well, will be nice to have somewhere decent to sit during our barbeque summer.

MrsM and Orkney Star - best wishes to your Mums - hope they both feel better soon.

    Coxy

    Quick update.

Firstly (((hugs))) to Mrs M & Orkney Star.

Popped in to MrM's yesterday, had to buy a couple of treats for OH (birthday today) so our total is now £289.85. £11.15 to go

Hi all, I am not doing too well budget £250 and was at roughly £190 then went and did the shop for OH BBQ at the weekend and the bill came to £77.34!!! so over budget! Also spent £17.50 in Mr M on Friday so -

£284.84 and still 8 days to go!

I have menu planned but I think that I will probably spend about £20 between now and next Tuesday so will be approx £55 over budget.

It could have been worse - it was my first attempt and I have been so aware of what I have been spending that I am sure I have spent less than I would have done. In fact OH and myself are still in credit in the bank so that is an improvement in itself!

    Morning all!

Mrs M - just a quickie to let you know that my gran developed breast cancer some years ago when she was 80 and had the op, no treatment at all, and has been fine ever since - it can work out OK. The hospital have her in for regular checks but all clear so far and its about 8 years on now.

With regards to shopping, spent £57 at Mr Ts yesterday - more than I was hoping for but I was tired and fed up so bought a bit more convenience food than normal but saying that I did stock up on dog food, some toiletries, cheese and got plenty of F&V.

Anyway, I won't be shopping again between now and the weekend so will declare at £165 and pennies from a budget of £175:T
I think it could have been about £20 less but I wasn't really too strict with myself when I realised I was going to be under budget.

We're on holiday for a week in July so its a 4 week month for us for shopping - Mrs M could you please put me down for £170 for July?

Hope everyone is doing OK - the end of the month is nigh!

As I stayed with BF for the weekend I have managed to have 3 Nospend days.
Hoping to have another couple of No spend days. But need to menu plan and see what I can do.
Having always menu planned up until a couple of months ago, I dont know why I have stopped/ or why it seems such an effort to do at the moment.?
Still within food budget anyway. But I doubt I will be able to reduce my challenge for a while yet.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
