Another spend from me
It's going to be bread and water in Fresian Towers by the week before payday at this rate :rotfl:
So, today I bought:
Milk £1.10
Pack of smart price bananas £1.25
Bag of Golden Delicious £1.44
2 leeks £1.12  I always thought of leeks as cheap veg, well no more
Cream £0.54
2 x loaves (reduced) total cost £0.79 I like bread with seeds, Mr Fresian is a white bread only man, so two loaves needed
Ham for lunches £1.88
2 x packs of 4 AA batteries £3
Total spend £11.12
I also bought two Fathers Day cards, but they don't count as groceries!0 -

TheBees had a terrible couple of months on the grocery challenge but with a new carpet to pay for we have to keep costs down for the next few months.
This week I went to Morrisons to use my £5 voucher and was really impressed in particular with the fruit and veg prices. I've really stocked up on everything and the cupboards, fridge and freezer are full to bursting point.
Today we harvested our first crop of new potatoes which we cooked for tea tonight. :j I was in the mood for baking afterwards so made loads of cakes which have gone in the freezer.
We also invested in a yoghurt maker from Lakeland yesterday and made our first batch overnight - delicious.:TMortgage Free in 3 part 2 challenge - pay off £9000
Sealed Pot Challenge 416 - target £5000 -

Hi folks,
Hope everybody is well.
I have not managed to post an update this month.
I have spent £44.10. My budget is £80.83. So I have £36.73 remaining for the rest of the month. I am combining this challenge with the NSD and live on 4k per year challenge so I can stay focused.
Anywya Take care

Managed to spend £32.41 at Mr T's over the weekend but that includes 6 x packs of reduced turkey mince @ 55p each and a large pack of chicken wings for 65p that we had for lunch yesterday. I might nip back later to buy some of the muller yogurts and chesse thats is on offer . I really can't fit anymore in the freezer or cupboards, I really need to run things down abit before I do anymore big shops.

The reason I ask is we might need some colour inspiration (paint wise) as DS seems to be enjoying tearing the current wallpaper off!
On a GC note, got some half price chicken and mushrooms in Tesco yesterday and some lovely Belgian buns reduced to 45p for 2! All in all shopping came to £10 ish but only spend £3 as used a £7 CC voucher.
