Spent £91.75 so far, which includes the big shop for the month with all the meat, fish, pasta and spuds we need plus tins and squash. Looking to not spend more than around £120 this month as we've lots in and money is really tight, as BF has been off work sick for 6 months and doesn't get any benefit money. My inventory of the freezer and cupboards is up to date and shows at least 41 protein portions in various guises. Looking forward to payday at the end of the month as a new Turkish supermarket has opened up in the old woolworths nearby and its fantastic, used to have to travel half 45 minutes to their other branch, now can get there in 15 minutes!

£9.89 spent on pack ups for three of us today - lots of high energy food and sports drink to last us all day, so not soooo bad, and certainly cheaper than buying food at the ski slope.

Thanks, I think I need more practice with the icing. I managed to put a hole in the first icing bag and had to rush to Asda to buy another, hopefully practice will make perfect.

I couldn't get out to get my shopping today that I needed as I have a poorly little'un :(

However my Mum was in Mr T and got me the bits, plus some fab reductios (sausage rolls, pizza, yoghurts, cherries...) and then didn't want to take any money as she 'forgot how much it came to'... Hmmm...

I managed to get her to take a fiver but I'm feeling bad she won't take any more. I can't bake extra fairy cakes tomorrow to give her either as she's on a diet and I don't think it'd be fair of me to do that to her

So dinner was reduced pizza and chips from the chippie - today's spend being and extra £6.20

    Off to update sig

Had my Race for Life today. So made up some sandwiches
and bought a box of cheese twists, meringues, strawberries and walnut whips that totaled £5.51. This leaves £362.56 till the end of the month.
